Great Weekend Getaway

We stayed here to have easy access to the lake + Lassen National Park. Lovely place to stay, big kitchen, very comfy couches, easy check in. Thanks!

Comfortable and nicely provisioned home

We had a very enjoyable stay in Westwood at this comfortable spacious property. It was clean and stocked with everything you could need for a weeklong visit. Very easy communication with Lacey.

Had a great “working stay”! The home is very comfortable and well stocked. Everything worked with no problems. Lacey is great, easy to reach with quick responses and was concerned we had everything we needed. Most definitely will rent again, hopefully next time for a vacation stay! Thank you Lacey

A lovely home that has been extensively enlarged and upgraded over the years! It has a spacious living room, separate dining room, two very good bathrooms plus a large and well equipped kitchen and separate laundry room and two great porches. Shows pride of ownership on the part of its local owners who are readily available if needed. Best place we've ever enjoyed in Westwood!!

The place is clean. However, the light in the downstairs bed room flicked and the cover is hanging down. Upstairs is very hot, even with the fan on, it didn't cool down until after 11:00pm. Most of the ingredients provided were stale. We only stayed two nights, so it wasn't worth bothering the owner to fix anything. The stairs to upstairs is very steep, not recommend for the elderly people.

You were provided with cell phone numbers prior to check-in, with instructions to let us know if you needed anything. Yet - you waited until after check out, to say the ceiling light fixture had unclicked, which is a 2 second click back in place fix. The ad mentions the steep stairs. The majority of the houses in the area do not have AC, it cools to the 40’s in the evenings - also the house is not listed as having AC. Again, I apologize the vinegar in the cabinet, for free use, didn’t meet your expectations. Please read adds fully about houses and follow instructions to communicate any issues next time. Thanks for leaving the house clean. Best wishes Hannah for any future stays in the area.

This is probably the nicest VRBO we've ever stayed at. It was a completely remodeled Westwood home with upgrades throughout. The bed was perfect and the pillows were very comfortable. The owners were very responsive and extremely pleasant. We would definitely stay again, if the house is available.
