Service did occur as scheduled, but the guest was no longer on the property due to the reservation being canceled following the party. * Privacy: The home sits on a large ~15,000 sq ft corner lot and is fully enclosed with a 6-foot privacy fence, offering significant privacy for guests. * Cameras: There are not “cameras everywhere.” There is a single Ring doorbell camera at the front entry, which is fully disclosed in the listing and compliant with platform policies. * Property Description: The listing accurately reflects the layout, including the converted space, which many guests enjoy and have had no issues with. Additionally, the property required extra cleaning after this stay due to the condition it was left in following the unauthorized gathering, which resulted in additional charges to the guest. It's unfortunately this guest did not do any research about where he was traveling to, he had a misconception...This property is located in the city center close to all major attractions yet on a quiet street surrounded by long time neighbors. The property is not located in a gated suburb area, nor is it advertised as so. My family and I lived there for 13 years without one single incident. Also, the water heater works great, it was uncovered that the guest had turned off the hot water switch located by the unit, but never reached out to me to inquire about it during his stay. I simply would have advised to turn the switch on and there would have been hot water immediately. We love hosting and am always happy to answer guest questions, it's a shame this guest didn't communicate during their stay.

At the time of your arrival, our lawn service was simply finishing their regularly scheduled maintenance. They park off to the side and do not block access to the driveway. It was clear they were performing lawn work, and access to the property was never restricted. Regarding the bed frame, we appreciate you bringing that to our attention. We immediately offered to send our handyman for a quick repair; however, you declined and confirmed it did not impact your stay unless sitting directly at the edge. As for the pool, the listing clearly states that the property features a large backyard with mature landscaping and no screen enclosure, so occasional leaves are expected. The pool is professionally serviced weekly (Thursday mornings), and the technician completed a full cleaning during your stay. The pool is a fiberglass design, which has a naturally smooth, soft surface—this is often preferred by families as it is gentler than rough concrete finishes. You also mentioned concerns about the pool equipment. As explained during your stay, the system operates on a timer and is not intended to run continuously. You confirmed that it did turn on as scheduled and was functioning properly. Regarding the plumbing concerns mentioned in your review, there is no evidence of any ongoing issues. The property was professionally cleaned and turned over immediately after your stay, and the next guest checked in without any plumbing problems. No guests since have reported any issues. Additionally, this concern was not brought to our attention during your stay—had it been, we would have immediately sent our plumber to address it. Based on all follow-up inspections and subsequent stays, no repairs were or are necessary. This is a large property with an expansive yard and pool, and routine maintenance like lawn care is necessary to keep everything in top condition for guests. While we understand brief disruptions can occur, they are part of maintaining the quality of the home. We do appreciate your acknowledgment that communication was prompt. We truly appreciate all of our guest, so I want to say thank you for reserving. This review is very confusing to me… This guest is rating the home poorly based on amenities that are not offered in the listing to begin with. The guest complained that the dishwasher leaked, I wish they would have reached out to me and let me know so I could either send a repairman or have a new dishwasher installed. It would’ve been an easy fix. I didn’t hear from these Guest once during their stay… Had they reached out to me with any concern then I would’ve made sure they were rectified immediately. It doesn’t make much sense to me to complain about items that are not listed as amenities and not contact the host if something isn’t working properly and then complain after the fact. The guest stated that the leg of the ping-pong table didn’t work, well had the guest reached out to me. I would’ve notified them that I keep an extra table available in case the current table is damaged, there was a brand new table available in the hall closet as I try to keep an extra amenity for every amenity in case something gets damaged by previous guest.. This property is large and sits on a huge corner lot… Although we try to make everything as perfect as possible, sometimes things break just like in any home. We understand that and we’re available 24 seven to address and rectify any issues… but again never heard from this Guest. Regardless, since this guest stay, we’ve actually installed a brand new dishwasher and brand new refrigerator freezer with icemaker and water dispenser. We look forward to hosting many amazing future guest at this beautiful property.
