Front porch, full kitchen with nook, amazing dining area, living room, small screened-in porch and fenced-in yard area. This luxe pet-friendly accommodation is located 4 blocks from the award-winning Riverwalk in historic downtown. 1 King BR, 2 Queen BR, 2 BA with parking.
The space
Crane on Dock features super-comfortable memory foam beds wrapped in luxurious 100% Egyptian cotton and/or Supima bed linens. The custom–accented tile showers are stocked with bath essentials. A high-end kitchen with a unique dining nook. Restore yourself in the morning with a Kurig coffee and peacefully end your day with the invigorating aroma and flavor of fair-trade caffeine-free Harney & Sons organic tea. 65" 4K Roku smart TV in living room and smart TVs in each bedroom along with another in the screened porch. Beach chairs and supplies (sunscreen, beach towels, beach bag, cooler) are at the ready for a quick trip to one of the many local beaches for a tranquil day of sun and relaxation. Curl up with Legends of Old Wilmington & Cape Fear coffee table book in screened porch or dine alfresco on the patio. And don't forget the hundreds of amazing bars and restaurants just blocks outside the front door!

A gem of a rental in historic district.
This house was a gem! Perfect example of how to do a modern renovation while maintaining historic charm. Excellent location. Immaculately clean and an attentive host. Don’t hesitate to stay here.

Little gem
This bungalow is absolutely perfect! It’s close to the river and restaurants and you can walk to everything. This home is so lovely that you just might want to cancel all your plans and just stay at home and enjoy the gorgeous interior and comfort of this gem if a place!

This house was simply perfection!! The house was super clean and absolutely ideal for our family and needs, There was absolutely no detail that was left out to ensure the comfort of the renters, from bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchen supplies, dishes, spices, beverage glasses, coffee bar, TV’s, indoor / outdoor area, the neighborhood, the neighborhood, activities, restaurants, shopping nearby! Very walkable and beautiful! We absolutely hope to be back, Wilmington was a wonderful trip! If we come Back, we would absolutely hope to stay in this house again! Huge kudos to the owners 👏👏Phenomenal❤️!

Wilmington getaway
The property was perfect. Clean, cozy, comfortable and beautiful. Paula thought of everything we could want or need and more. The house is a couple of blocks from downtown making it a great location to walk to restaurants and shops. We had a wonderful week!

Hi, I’m Paula! My husband Chan and I moved to Wilmington in October of 20 after living in Alexandria VA for most of our lives. We visited Wilmington for the first time in April of 19 and fell in love with it. I immediately began searching for our first Airbnb. Within a few months we purchased what is now known as Elephant on Market. Fast forward a year, and after spending lots of time at the condo visiting, the pandemic hits and we can work from anywhere. So we decided to buy a historic home in downtown Wilmington. Talk about an adventure. We are now in the midst of a pretty substantial restoration project just a few blocks from the condo and have built our second Airbnb - now known as Steer on Dock. Our house was built in 1855 by the same architect as the Bellamy Mansion. It's been a lot of work but will be AMAZING when it's done. Please hit me up if you want to come over for a tour while you are visiting. I’m fun and easy going and really love meeting new people on my adventures. My favorite things in the world are music, animals, travel, photography, and interior design. I especially love the beach and am completely obsessed with my French bulldog Atlas.
