Beautifully renovated pool and outdoor SPA/hot tub as of Nov 2023.
Single floor residence has heated pool and wide water views, high ceilings and french doors leading to a covered lanai and screened in pool area.
Master Bedroom has bedset and Westin Hotel Heavenly Bed Mattress for a very comfortable night sleep.
The house is convenient to restaurants and shopping. Close by places include La Mesa Grill, Doreens cup of Joe (for breakfast, and Joeys Italian for lunch dinner..

It's the perfect place to lounge and enjoy your morning coffee or evening dinner. The spacious living room has a large flat screen TV and DVR and the large master suite is also equipped with a flat-screen TV. There are 2 additional Flatscreen TV's in the house (4 in total). Enjoy the Heated pool and SPA while taking in the wide water views and expansive green space across the canal. The use of the boat lift is not included with the booking. You can however use the dock. Please inquire as to availability. You can enjoy fishing right off the dock in the back of the house with a license. The beach entrance at Tigertail beach a 10 minute walk from the house.
Since most of our guests come to Florida for vacation to relax and enjoy the sun, they would like to enjoy laying in the sun during the day and afternoon by the pool. On this major point not all homes are the same. If you want to enjoy late morning through evening sun, the pool has to be facing south or west. If the pool is facing East or North, the pool will be in the shade starting around noon especially in the winter with the sun lower in the sky. (The sun will be shining on the front of the house in the afternoon creating a shadow that will cover the pool, since the pool is in the back yard of the house). This is probably not how you'd like to spend your vacation. It's like being at the beach on a cloudy day, everyday. Make sure you ask which way the pool faces when you look at homes to rent.
Another question is - What is your view while you are laying in the sun, having a meal in the outdoor dining area or just enjoying a drink? Many homes are on narrow canals facing unsightly seawalls and another neighbor's dock and backyard. At our home you look at expansive greenspace directly across from the home and wide water views to the south as you look out. The view is relaxing and enjoyable. Take a moment to look at where the home is and what your view will be as you are enjoying the outdoor pool, patio and outdoor dining area.
There are also 4 bicycles available for your use at the house. Please inquire about the availability and use of the boat dock. The boatlift is not available for use.
There are security cameras on the outside of the home, 1 by the front door, 1 by the driveway, 1 on each side of the home and 1 by the boat dock. All 5 cameras are outside the home..

We enjoyed our stay. It was quiet and comfortable. Home was very clean. Location was central to what we wanted to do. Pool and hot tub were spotless and looked new. Use of bicycles was a nice extra.

Owner very responsive and helpful. We loved the location (exactly half mile to tigertail entrance at which point you either wade through lagoon or walk another half mile around to gorgeous gulf beach). Pool and spa area very enjoyable and easy to operate. House is fully stocked with everything you need... and spacious. Our only negative is the house furnishings are not up to date and thus not very comfortable ( beds and bedding and sofas quite worn).

Great location!

This house is very walkable to Tigertail Beach. Know before you go: Tigertail beach is beautiful, but it is not right on the gulf. You must walk through the tidepool (easiest at low tide) or continue to walk to the beach with gulf access (about 0.5 mile). We enjoyed the walk and the trek through the tide pool, but families with very young children should plan for this. The house has a great pool and view, and the pictures are very accurate. The house is a little outdated, but very clean and is stocked with all you need. The owner is very responsive and provides good instructions for how to care and leave the home. The owner allows use of bikes (with locks), which were a great way to get to the beach even quicker, as well as bike to nearby stores, restaurants and ice cream shops! We loved our stay on Marco Island, and this home is a great jump off point for beaching and biking adventures! We WOULD stay again!

Great Marco Island Cozy Home

My family really enjoyed staying here - this was our first visit to Marco Island. Upon entering the house, we fell in love with all the views and doors out to the pool and canal. The window out to the pool was one of our favorite features. The inside is not super updated and the garbage disposal did not work (seems like that could have been an easy fix), but the location and amenities made up for those. My kids LOVED all the pool toys in the garage and we really appreciated the beach cart. We walked one day to the beach from the house and it was about a mile. The next day we drove and it was about a 1/2 mile walk. It was also really nice that the back of the house was on a separate AC unit than the front of the house. Really this house had all you could ask for and we would love to come back and stay again sometime!

Terrific Views in Tigertail

Let’s start with the #1 thing about this house and that’s the view. We have stayed in a few other properties on Marco Island over the years and none of those views compare to this one. Absolutely stunning. The location is perfect. It’s close to the beach, to the shops and to the restaurants. It’s quite a large home and the 5 of us had plenty of space to relax and enjoy our Thanksgiving holiday. The house is very comfortable and well stocked, although it could use some updates and minor fixes/touchups but nothing to prevent us from renting again. The host was very responsive when we had a technical difficulty with the remote/tv syncing and we really enjoyed our time here. The house is 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, including one off the pool area. There’s 2 separate living areas, large screen tvs in both plus 2 of the bedrooms, a large garage stocked with bikes & beach paraphernalia (which we did not use) and did I mention the view? Was hoping to book it for a week next January (2024) but looks like they might not rent it out in the winter. Guess we will have to shoot for another Thanksgiving then!

Great location and pool

A great location on Marco Island and the perfect direction for the pool to face. If you want a lot of sun, this is a great spot. Quiet and ideal for relaxing around the pool. The house is a bit worn as others have mentioned but the host is responsive and the property is clean. When the sun sets the hot tub is a great place to relax. Very close to Tigertail beach and well stocked with beach and pool toys, floaties, carts and bikes.

Owner responsive, quiet location

We stayed for a week at this property in July. Peter was very prompt, generous and responsive to a housekeeping issue. Property does need updating, however, did not affect enjoying our time together as a family. Pool deck did have standing water after raining or people getting out of pool. Had to sweep it off so no one would slip and fall. Pool guy was very nice and friendly. Kitchen had all the necessities to cook meals in. Denim seating area was very comfy. Did not use other living area. Location was wonderful to stores , beach , and water. Bikes were a bit old but they did the job. We rode them almost every day. Very quiet location. Boat dock looked well kept (did not use the lift). Lots of fishing items, chairs, and pool toys. Lots of towels and beach towels to use. Washer and dryer worked well. Provided laundry detergent, dishwasher soap and dish soap. Overall, had a good time together with family.

Convenient, comfy, a little attention needed

Friendly layout with enclosed pool and hot tub. The bathroom access immediately adjacent to pool is brilliant! Fully functional kitchen with all necessary dining wear, cookware, utensils. Improvements to the three mattresses in the front bedrooms would have taken our rating to a 5. We had to buy a mattress topper to allow us to sleep nights 2-7. Had to add water to the pool and hot tub 5 of 7 days which keep the temps refreshing. The stool alcove in the Master bathroom is very tight for a plus sizes adult to use. All things considered, would likely rent again with off season rates and mattress topper in hand!

I would love to live here

Host Peter is the most detailed and organized person in history. There are labels and instructions for most things in the home. Th house is a little older and could use some updating, but to use, it was perfect. The beds are comfortable, the A/C is functional, the pool is clean and awesome, the location is perfect, and the house is clean. Easy walk to Tigertail Beach. Peter is super responsive, and if you look at the cost compared to a hotel, this place is a total win-win. 5 stars for sure!

Summer trip to Florida

Our family enjoyed the time we spent here, it was quiet and yet entertaining for our kids who are 8 and 15...they spent most of the time in the pool and w enjoyed the openness and space of the place. It was also clean and had the amenities needed to enjoy our time. Restaurants and shopping were close by too. Peter, the owner, was easy to contact if needed.

Spring 2021 Marco Trip

The property has a great locating being very quiet and within minutes from TigerTail Beach and numerous resteraunts. Ample amenities including bikes, beach chairs, coolers and beach toys. We really enjoyed the pool and the propane grill. Peter (the owner of the property) communicated with us every step of the way. Check-in and check-out was easy. Thank you Peter!

The home is comfortably furnished with numerous seating areas and spacious common area inside the home. Two seating areas with TV indoors - one with large denim sofa and loveseat. The main living room with a large HD Samsung flatscreen TV. There is also seating in the lanai with large cushioned chairs overlooking the pool and the wide water views.

What makes this property unique

You can enjoy the sun all day at this home since the pool is facing the SouthWest direction. It gets great sun all day. If you want to stay out of the sun, you can relax outside in the covered lanai. In addition the relaxing wide water views really enhance your vacation experience while you are sitting poolside.
