This energy efficient, ski in ski out modern ski house sits just above the Westside lodge at MT Abram Ski Resort and Bike Park. Designed by renown interior designer and featured in Maine Home Design, this rustic meets modern home features a neutral palette and airy interior. Floor to ceiling glass on the main floor allow the outside to create the color pop along with the floor to ceiling fireplace to invite the ultimate ambiance.
Walking through this home you will appreciate that no corners were cut in the building process. The main entrance brings you into the large entry featuring a reclaimed oak open staircase and open storage for all your recreational gear. Beyond the entry is the open kitchen/living room anchored by the floor to ceiling fireplace. Two sliding glass doors bring you out to the back porch sheltered by a 14 foot over hang supported by 8 inch steel post. A classic Nordic hot tub, stone fireplace, and gourmet Wolf gas grill allow you to create your own apres ski vibe.
The upper level features two bunk rooms and 1 king ensuite, and 1 queen room. The first bunk room features two sets of twin built in bunks while the second bunk room has a single set of twin bunks.

Amazing Modern Stay

My friends and I really enjoyed our stay up in Greenwood. It was a quiet location next to Mt. Abram. It felt very cozy and peaceful. There was a lot of space for us to enjoy, hang out, and relax. I’d definitely stay here again!

Beautiful house, great location for skiing

This house is absolutely beautiful. State of the art appliances and great floorplan. Mt abrams ski access is excellent with a trail to westside lodge. Also can ski Sundayriver which is just 12 miles away. Very clean house, very comfortable bedding and furniture. We used both the indoor fireplace and outdoor fireplace along with the hottub.

Can’t wait to stay here again

We had the best time staying here this past February break with our 3 kids. The house was perfect and the hot tub and outdoor fireplace were incredible. The house was clean and the decor was lovely. The only feedback was that all of the knives were dull and the pots and pans need to be upgraded. Otherwise, it was an incredible stay!

We enjoyed our stay at this house. The house is just a few houses from the ski lift and 15 mins to the town. It had everything we needed, including a BBQ and hot tub. The house was impeccable, very clean and decorated beautifully. They even plowed the snow on the driveway for us. Very considerate to do. Highly recommend.

We had an excellent experience at this VRBO. The house is clean, spacious and well appointed. Plenty of room for multiple families with kids, and within easy walking distance of the west side of the mountain. It has the necessary pots/pans/utensils for cooking, and the chefs kitchen is a big plus. PM is helpful and communicative.

Top notch residence

We loved our stay here! House was in brand new condition and very well appointed. Everything was seamless and easy to find/operate. Any questions we had were immediately answered. We took our daughters ages 2 and 4 to ski and loved this location for skiing at Mt Abram. We couldn’t say enough good things about our stay. We definitely plan to book again next year!

Second time just as good as first!

We loved this property so much last year we had to come back for an another ski trip this year. The house is immaculate and fully stocked with everything you could need. We had 3 young kids 3-5 years old and they were able to make the walk from the back yard, to an ungroomed trail, where we then had to walk a few houses past before we could put skis on and go down a slight slope to the base. It is a very close location to a great, family friendly mountain! Hope to be back for a third time next year!

Amazing!

The pictures are amazing and in person it is even better. The house is absolutely stunning, every detail well thought out. We enjoyed the outdoor fire, underneath the overhang on two of the days as it rained. it was perfect for both the adults and our 4 boys (ages 6-10). If I was to build a cabin, this would be exactly it. The beer garden and mountain biking is a 2 minute walk and we took advantage of both. Live music and and a very chill atmosphere.

House exceeded expectations - literally felt like it was brand new. Owners clearly invested a lot of money and thought into every detail. House had it all (except for a microwave?!), including high end appliances. Towels all perfectly folded and stored for your use. Very, very clean. Only complaint we had was having to stream everything with somewhat spotty WiFi. Master bed very firm too, but some people might like that. Overall, just a beautiful home and was easy to ski in and out for a day at Mt Abrams. Definitely a repeat rental for our family.

Awesome well appointed ski-in ski out on Mt Abrahams. Very comfortable home. Only 15 minutes to Sunday River ski mountain as well. Home is exactly as the pictures show. Second time renting this house and well worth the money. Beautiful kitchen. Great location.
