Located in the center of Historical Wilmington Vermont Village, Our facility dates back to the 1850's.Newly renovated by an award winning Architect this Building offers 3 private Bed Rooms a 4 bed dorm perfect for the kids. 3 1/2 Baths.This facility can sleep from 12-15. After a day of skiing in winter or golf in the summer, relax in front of the fire, or hot tub take in 1 of the many adjacent restaurants, art galleries, or maybe the local brewery. Warm weather activities include GOLFING, boating in the nearby 15 mile long fresh water reservoir hiking and bike riding. All the amenities you need are right there,In the Winter snow is the name of the game, from skiing to snow shoeing,snow mobiles and cross country. when done with the fun just a simple walk out the door to Restaurants,Bars and Shops! Mt Snow and Vermont offer a free shuttle bus with ski racks that stops at the corner 50 feet away, leaving and returning every hour. Then come home to the Brewery/ Restaurants next door, and have that 3rd and fourth drink, without fear. LOL Its the safe way to party!!

The house is old and awesome! Our family of 12 made the most of our time here and in the town. I think I’m a better pool player now! George was great to communicate with and alway easily available. For a first visit to Vermont, great memories were made.

Amazing property! I've stayed in this area quite a few times but this was definitely the best. Everyone who I stayed with was impressed by me for booking this property. There's so many little things that done to make it even more special besides the already great things like the hot tub and sauna. There was a generous welcome gift as we arrived and the little touches like having a duraflame already in the fireplace made it that much more special. Great place and would definitely be my go to if its available.

We had a great time at George’s rental. Great location and easy access to the bus to get to the mountain. Plenty of space to sleep, and hangout after skiing. George is a great host and very accommodating and responsive. I definitely recommend this rental.

George was fantastic. Responsive to my questions and had everything ready for us. The house was split so early sleepers got quiet while late nighters were able to enjoy. Bus to Mount Snow was right on the corner and dropped us off across the street. Plenty of room for the 10 of us (even room for a couple of more people). Wilmington was hopping Friday night so it took a little patience to get spots in the municipal lot close by, but it was no problem. Once there, we barely drove anywhere (I think someone went to the store while we skied. Thanks for everything.

Perfect in every way!

George’s house was fantastic. It’s located right in the middle of a cute little town and is easily walkable to plenty of restaurants and shops. The house has pretty much everything you would want for a winter getaway: fireplace, hot tub, sauna, pool table, big kitchen perfect for cooking, dart board, foosball table, plenty of beds and showers. Would absolutely return in the future!

Multi-family trip

3 Families each with 2 teen boys stayed for 5 days. Put all the boys on the side of the house with the hot tub and pool table while the parents got some peace and quiet on the other side. A lot of charm and character and close to local restaurants. Shuttle passes right by the house. Highly recommend!

Long Ski Weekend

This place exceeded all expectations. It comfortably accommodated six adults and six children with many options for the kids to bunk up. The flow from the kitchen into the pool table/bar area and into the family room (large fireplace/ tv) was perfect for all entertainment needs. And do not underestimate the cozy hot tub area off the kitchen. A protected nook which provided great hang out time with friends and family. This place captured all vibes. George was very responsive and very kind. He did a great job with this place. We will be coming back

Perfect NYE Retreat

The property is exactly as described in the listing and just like the other reviews, it’s larger than it seems by the pics. Love that most of the bedrooms are on a different side of the house than the recreational areas. It made it quiet for nap times. The hot tub was awesome and overall we just really enjoyed ourselves. Also love the decor… something different in every room to keep your eyes busy. The house is only a 12 min drive to Mt Snow and the Movers stop is only steps away. Very convenient. Lots of great food nearby too. Definitely try out this house if you are in the area.

Great location

3 families with middle school children stayed for a ski vacation. The house is much bigger than it looks. The kids were at the pool table the entire time while the adults hung around the fireplace. The sauna wasn't working when we were there, but not a big deal. We did use the hot tub. The only issue we had was the top shelf of the refrigerator was freezing our food and drinks, but we just had to adjust and move things back and forth. And you can't beat the location, especially if you have non-skiers in your group. Plenty to do during the day and so close to the bus line so you can go anywhere.

Wonderful property downtown!

This was a fantastic and unique property in downtown Wilmington. The shuttle to Mount Snow was quick and easy and beat dealing with parking. The kids loved the hot tub, pool table and game room. Plenty of sleeping options for all and walking distance to restaurants and shops. Loved the place and would definitely stay again!

Ski Weekend

Had the best time at George’s property with friends. Perfect proximity to the mountain with a shuttle stop right outside. Hot tub and pool table were fully taken advantage of. Would highly recommend to anyone with a big group. We only had 8 guests but could easily fit more with the space. Definitely book here, you won’t regret it!

Perfect Ski Getaway

We were a party of 12 with ages ranging from 10 to 70. Everyone had plenty of room to stretch out and plenty of things to keep them busy. The house is much larger in person - and the living room with the fireplace is the spot to hang out. Perfect location. Close to shopping and skiing. We would definitely book again. George was fantastic to deal with. An overall wonderful weekend!

Great ski weekend

We just completed a weekend at George’s property. We loved the entire unit and had a great time. There was plenty of space, everything was very clean, the beds were very comfortable and we loved the fireplace. George was great communicating with us through our stay to make sure we had what we needed. Hopefully we’ll be able to return for another weekend soon!

Quick stay right in the heart of wilmington

Location and cleanliness of the house was perfect. It’s much larger than the pictures indicate and we had more than enough beds for our 3 families (12 total). Only thing to note is that there are only 2 parking spots at the house, but there was a municipal parking lot 2 blocks away. We had a blast and would definitely recommend!! George was super responsive although there really wasn’t anything we needed. All was setup as advertised ready and waiting for us upon arrival.

Excellent Group Getaway

This house was a perfect fit for 10 adults, and could have comfortably fit more. It was even roomier than the pictures showed, and had plenty of space for ski storage. George was very responsive and made the check-in/check-out process very simple. The location is also great since it is right in town - easily walkable to bars/restaurants, grocery store, liquor store, etc. Plus only about a 15 minute drive to Mt. Snow. I would definitely recommend this place, and would go back in a heartbeat.

Vermont vacation

This place is great! It is in the heart of Wilmington literally next door to a bar and restaurant and 2 min walk to other restaurants, shops and 15 min drive or shuttle ride to Mt. Snow! The house layout is great allowing multiple couples or families privacy! Pool table, bar outside jacuzzi and more! Owner was great and even helped find my lost iwatch! Little kids enjoys the rustic barn feel, loft, pool table and games.

This place has the wow factor as you walk in to main room. With the large welcoming fireplace, pool table, long dining table, bar, foosball, and plenty of seating space truly the spot to gather. On top of this a hot tub. We booked for a Superbowl/ski weekend with 4 couples total and had a blast. There was plenty of space to spare and a ton of comfortable beds. For skiing, the shuttle is easy to take right to My. Snow and right outside the door. For those not as interested in skiing, this is truly right smack in the middle of Wilmington main street. All that you could possibly look for in walking distance. George was very responsive and made the whole process very easy and relaxing. Will definitely be eying this location for the next trip.

George's property is so unique. My boys (6-9 years old) called it the fun house! We had a blast. Even though there was a bar next door, we never went because the house was so inviting and had everything we wanted.

President's Day Ski Trip

We stayed here with 3 families (6 adults, 6 kids) and had a wonderful time. From sitting by the fire playing guitars and cards to the kids running around playing, the house was great. There was more than enough sleeping options so everyone was comfortable. The location was perfect. Lots of businesses within walking distance and everyone was friendly. The Moover was fantastic too. Easy on and off and we felt guilty after not using the first day. George was easy to work with and very helpful. When the refridgerator had an issue it was quickly resolved. Thank you George

Why they chose this property

Any one can rent a home in the woods! I dont like vacationing and after a day of activities getting into a cold car to travel to and from restaurants on slippery roads at night. This is why I developed a 'Gem' within walking distance to Restaurants , Shops, Art galleries etc. Free bus shuttle to the ticket booths at the Mountain. I'm sleeping in! while my teenage kids go up to the mountain to catch the Virgin Snow. After a day of fun, play Pool in front of a warm Fire or a soak in the hot tub As Randy would say 'Its the BOMB!!! ' a unique experience.
