I have been renting several different homes on lake June twice a year for the past 10 years. This home was just renovated and remodeled. Everything the owners did was excellent. They did not cut any corners and the floor plan they chose is wonderful. The home is pristine with everything new. The open floor plan allows for everyone to have somewhere to rest or play or relax. The home is very large and with its large size has accommodations for everyone to have a spot of their own. There is enough room for everyone to have a seat during dining. I can't say enough nice things about this property and look forward to staying there again in the future. The dock is really spectacular. There is so much room out there and all of the amenities the owners have provided really makes for a comfortable stay. All in all, this a 5 star rated home.
Potentially a great home with a large kitchen and dining area, comfy couch and mattresses, each bedroom has an en suite, roomy dock, patio, and kayaks. However, the pool table was so wobbly that we were concerned about using it, we found tools to tighten the legs but other screws were missing. The air hockey table had a cut cord, rendering it useless. This was disappointing since we picked the place based on having something fun to do at night. The main issue was the plumbing. Two toilets wouldn’t flush, and showers backed up into other showers. We had to take quick showers to prevent the water from backing up too much, creating an unsanitary situation. We called the owner, and they got a plumber; we had plans to go out but needed to change our plans to wait for the plumber to be done and ensure everything was working correctly. The plumber falsely claimed success, and we had to wait longer for everything to be fixed. The next day, while doing laundry, the kitchen sink started gurgling. The owner offered to waive the 75 fee for using the hot tub, which was not part of the listing, and felt shady. Not only because of the mystery fee but also because there isn’t a lock, so how would she know if we used it? Hopefully, there aren’t cameras watching it.In short, the house has great potential, but the plumbing issues are concerning, and the amenities need to be addressed. If you decide to rent, ensure the plumbing works and the pool table and air hockey table are fixed.
This house is beautiful and set up perfectly for large families. The lake is beautiful however, there are too many problems with it that make the stay completely unenjoyable to say the least. Firstly, the host did not provide details intil we were almost there. Sge tells us we can not flush ANY toilet paper and must use a trash can for all soiled tissue because the plumbing is bad. Then she states there is a $75 fee to ise the jacuzzi which was not mentioned in the listing. There is no hot water! She tells you to go unlock a closet and hit the breakers everytime someone has to shower but that doesnt work. It goes luke warm for 2 to 4 minutes top. The beds were covered in rodent droppings! Rodent droppings on the couch and all over. There is a spider infestation in the patio and dock area which make there way in the house. Roaches in the house. Roaches in the house. A/C is faulty as well. This house needs some serious work before it can be rented again. No compensation was offered for all we endured.
We could not be any happier with our stay. This lakeside home is very spacious with a great layout to invite your family. For many years we have been coming to Lake June and by far this is our favorite rental. Patricia was very welcoming and only a phone call away if anything was needed . All of our family looks forward to next year.
