We loved everything about our family stay at this property! It was both cozy and spacious at the same time. Wonderful accommodations, location a short walk to the bay, and close to Cape May and Wildwood. Our host, Josephine, was LOVELY from start to finish, with kind and quick communication. This was our first time staying in Villas, and we will hope to stay here, in this home again. Thank you!
The cottage was perfect for a family, definitely would recommend of you have multiple adults or teenagers. The neighborhood was quiet and close to drive to most attractions for day trips.
Loved this beach cottage! Would definitely vacation here again. Owners were extremely knowledgeable about the area and very responsive to our questions. Awesome family oriented community and I absolutely enjoyed my morning coffee on the front porch. Highly recommend :)
We are a family of five (2 adults and three kids) who booked a last minute getaway to Cape May. We Josephine is a great host, she is responsive and helpful. The cottage is cute and simple, it is nicely decorated with a lot of vintage beach elements. Beds were comfortable, linens clean, towels in abundance. AC worked well on the upper level, kitchen was a bit hot but not bad. Kitchen was well stocked. Outdoor shower was a huge plus! We did not use provided e-bikes but utilized beach umbrella, boogie boards, chairs and sand toys. The location is convenient to the bay, however the water on the bay side is somewhat murky and the beach seems to have too many dead horseshoe crabs. We felt it was not very suitable for swimming but sunset are amazing there and morning beach walk was pleasant. The town itself is not as nice as North Cape May where we usually stay, lots of construction, no side walks, some houses appear poorly taken care of. But it is a short ride to Cape May and all attractions of Wildwood. On site parking was convenient. We enjoyed our stay and would love to come back. We felt the cottage had everything we could need!
My girlfriends and I stayed at this house for a much needed girls weekend. The house is very cute. The only down fall was the kitchen and the bathroom were not very clean. The stove top, microwave, and blender all had a film on them and had small crumbs or maybe small bugs on them. The spoon rest had a grease spot on it, like it hadn’t been washed. The toaster had crumbs on it. The bathroom floor had hair and crumby dirt on it. It was obvious it hadn’t been swept, let alone mopped. The sink looked dirty too-the faucet had little white specks on the top of it and the sink itself looked like it was a little dirty too. The upstairs bedroom curtain and the mattress cover under the the fitted sheet were ripped. The iron was not working and the ironing board was no where to be found. There were also numerous cobwebs. Generally speaking, we had a great time and that’s what matters. However, it could be cleaned better.

I’m a little taken back about your review. We had communicated a few times and these issues were not addressed to me. The only issue that you addressed to me was the iron not working and that was told to me at check out. When the place was being cleaned after you left there was a few issues observed that my husband and I considerate the cost of doing business so we didn’t mention in the review of you. There was a stain on toilet seat that seem to be a hair product that had to be scrubbed four times to get the stain out. Also the iron was left on the dining room table on the wood part which leaked and left a permanent water stain. There are place mats on the dining room table. The side table also had a permanent water stain. I would think someone who is so particular in their review would not leave iron on the dining room table. Again my husband and I consider this is the cost of doing business. We do appreciate candid reviews and use this feedback as an opportunity to improve. However to state that there was something in the toaster that could of been crumbs or bugs, there is a huge distinction between these two and we consider it careless for you to speculate like that. We had never had an issue with insects and we take proactive steps to avoid having them. It seems you had enjoyable time and we are happy to hear that.
