Amazing vacation

Great location!

We really enjoyed our stay at the Getaway! Very clean and well stocked. We had everything we needed during our stay. The outdoor space is amazing and so relaxing. We will definitely be back!

We really enjoyed our stay at this clean, well appionted, family friendly property. We did not have the best weather (cloudy and cool) but made the best of the amazing out door space. The firepit was a great spot for star gazing and we had plenty of space (and equipment) for our anual family "cottage olympics"! Our host was readily availble for any questions we had..

A Very Well Stocked House

We spent 23 nights here. Andrea, who was nearby, was very helpful in quickly answering a few questions we had about the internet, the thermostat and the TV service. She supplied us with some kitchen staples when we ran out of them. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend her rental.

Family Wedding - Accommodations

My cousin had a wedding 10 minutes from the accommodations, so we opted for this excellent property instead of a hotel. The kids and adults had such a great time, and though I heard the hotel was nice, it doesn't beat the opportunity to wake up for a swim/paddle on the lake. 10/10 would recommend. Hosts were extremely responsive. I actually love that they live on the property as well. It makes for a true vacation rental experience.

Geweldig genoten op een geweldige plek!

Alles klopte aan deze accomodatie. Contact met de verhuurder was goed en snel. Super vriendelijke mensen! Bij aankomst bleek het allemaal netjes schoon en vooral lekker ruim te zijn. We mochten van alles gebruikmaken. Het huis is van alle gemakken voorzien. We konden de kano's en de waterfiets gewoon pakken. Het uitzicht op Forrest Lake is geweldig. In de avonden konden we een vuurtje maken op de vuurplaats. Heel gezellig! Neem wel muggenspray mee. Maar dat is sowieso een goed idee in deze omgeving! Een aanrader voor een geweldige ervaring!

My husband and moved to South River a few years ago for his work. We bought a Duplex so there would be room for family to come and visit. We offer the home for guests to stay when no visits are planned.
