Home sits on Private beach, completely renovated (winter/spring 2009) and very well maintained. Main house overlooking your own private beach ~ 3 floors with three baths (including full basement with wide screen TV, two full size pull outs and 3/4 bath) . This coastline is spectacular! Beautiful beaches both north and south as well as walking paths along the cliffs and resort amenities near by: spa, golf, great restaurants and fishing and sailing on the Ocean! .
Moody is part of Ogunguit Beach which was ranked by Yankee Magazine as 'Best Beach Town' in New England.

Beautiful spot on Moody Beach

We had a wonderful week on Moody beach. The house had everything we needed and wanted. Gorgeous views and beach too! The house was clean and well stocked. No complaints at all!

Communicating with the owner was easy and delightful. The home was clean and comfortable, with access to the beach hassle free! Great for a family with a six year old, thank you for including beach toys.

Perfect! Gorgeous home, beautiful views!

This is the nicest home that we have ever stayed in and that is saying a lot since we’ve been coming there for decades. It is beachy yet classy and comfortable. It’s been completely updated, has plenty of room, is stocked with everything you could ever need, and is in a great location right on the water. The views are incredible and the beach itself is about 3 miles from one end to the other. The owner is fantastic…hospitable and accommodating. We enjoyed our stay very much and plan to stay again.

Most beautiful beach in Maine

The house was clean and well stocked. We’re well located right on the à private beach. We love our holiday. Communication with the owner was prompt and easy.

Wonderful beachfront home!!

We had such a wonderful time at this beautiful home!! Steps down to the beach, it was so convenient!! There were 8 adults and 1 child and we were very comfortable. 3 bedrooms upstairs and one on the lower floor. 3 full bathrooms, one on each floor. Plenty of bath towels and beach towels were provided. Washer and dryer worked great. So many places to hang out in the house, many reading nooks with such comfy furniture! Kitchen was well stocked with pots and pans, coffee maker, toaster, dishes, silverware, platters, dishwasher etc. Plenty of beach chairs, little surf boards, pails and shovels. Inside there were puzzles and games galore! And then there’s the guesthouse!! Another full bathroom, 2 mattresses in the loft area and a pullout bed on the main floor. And another fully stocked kitchen!! Just steps away from the main house. We took great walks along the beach, swam often and were just a short drive to many restaurants, stores, mini golf, ice cream etc. And even though there was no A/C, there were plenty of good fans... most of the time there was a beautiful sea breeze. We had 5 cars parked in the driveway at times. Oh and there was also a gas fireplace/stove! The owner was always just a text away and was helpful. I would highly recommend it!

My wife Phyllis, is a native Charlottean, and proud Tar Heel after graduating from UNC Chapel Hill. We now have two grandchildren and hope to have more on the way.

Why they chose this property

Three generations of my family spent the summers on Moody beach, it's my favorite spot in the world. I spent all my summers as a kid, around 14 worked on lobster boats, then moved to Oqunquit to work in restaurants until college graduation.
Our family has been vacationing on Moody beach off and on for the past 20 years and grew a love for Moody over that time.

What makes this property unique

Going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the ocean waves is very peaceful and special to me.
The home has been fully renovated yet the previous owners kept the original 'Cottage style'. Whether you're on the back steps overlooking the marsh, the beach front watching the waves, or inside the home............the house fits with the environment. It feels as if it belongs.........
