We had an amazing stay at this house! Gorgeous views of the water and great memories with our family! The house was very cozy and comfortable. We will definitely be back for another visit.
My mother’s entire side of her family were raised in Brier Hill. Naturally, every 4th of July we all rent a cabin with our families for a week. Brothers, sisters, aunts, uncles and more came by just to see how great this place was. Perfect location. Great communication but we needed nothing at all. We will be back and hopefully we get to rent the little red cottage down by the water next year as well. Thank you for a wonderful week

This makes my heart smile! I am so happy that you and your family had such a lovely time! Please do cone back and enjoy!
My husband and I stayed with our daughter and her 2 friends the week before they head off to college...plus our dog Tupper. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and snacks, which were much appreciated. The house was clean, beds were comfortable, bathroom lsrgr and nice, river view beautiful. It is close to A Bay and Clayton. It's a cute house! Fyi there isn't a dishwasher and it's on well water, but no one seemed to mind. We had a great stay and would recommend.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Nice location but a few negatives
The house was in a very scenic and quiet location and was reasonably comfortable for our needs traveling with a 2 year old and an infant. The living room area has great views of the river. Negatives were that the water (in the sink and in the shower) is incredibly sulfur-rich and therefore tastes disgusting / is not drinkable so you will need to buy bottled water. We also had some electrical issues with fuses blowing out likely because there are large single-room air conditioner units in the bedrooms that have probably overloaded the circuits. The other issue is the dog policy. Right before the trip we were informed that any dogs would need to be leashed if they were outside at all because the lawn is shared with other houses with pets, a policy that was mentioned nowhere on the listing and I can imagine would detract from others' experience with bringing a pet along.
