We had a wonderful time at this fantastic location! It is right on the river with clear views in both directions. Extremely comfortable and well kept. A sure choice for a great vacation!
We've stayed in this beautiful house a number of times and hope to do so many times in the future. It's warm and welcoming and the view of the river is extraordinary!

Thank you for returning year after year! Something about that river draws you in.
We thoroughly enjoyed our time and wish we were staying longer. The convenience of marina is a huge plus. The views and fishing were great. Property mgr was very accommodating and a pleasure to visit with. Hope to go back again for a longer stay.
Amazing location. A very scenic spot with awesome sunsets. A nice house and a beautiful property. We had a great time and a wonderful vacation. The property manager was very helpful and resourceful.
Love Blind Bay... Ships are close to shore, and it's quiet. This property has it all - space, lovely views, great kitchen, kayaks and an easy way to get in and out of them! Had a relaxing and wonderful week. Thank you!
Beautiful location, very relaxing views. House was stocked well, owner very friendly and helpful. House could of been a little cleaner upon arrival.

Hi Shari,
Thank you for your feedback. The house was not as clean as it should have been when you first arrived because of scheduling conflict with the cleaning service. This has been addressed and it will not happen again.
I'm happy that you enjoyed your stay despite the cleanliness issue.
This property sits right on the St. Lawrence River with an up close view of the ships that travel by. It's spacious, tons of windows, nice kitchen, and easy access to the water for swimming and kayaking. Best of all, it's quiet, yet it's easy to get to the Eisenhower Lock, Ottawa, or the cute little towns in the 1,000 Islands.
We loved this house! Best house we ever rented in our decades of vacationing in 1000 Islands. So many comfortable spots to relax and watch the big ships go by. Burtt, the property manager, goes above and beyond, so willing and happy to help with everything. Can’t wait to come back next year! Nothing but love for My Lady Marge!
Wonderful place, stunning location, and unforgettable weekend! If we didn’t live so far away (Maine) we would definitely want to come back and stay longer than the weekend. And the best part—we met and really enjoyed Burtt, Marge’s caretaker. He even gave us a boatride and shared his local knowledge and hilarious stories!! Thanks so much, Marge!

I'm so happy that you enjoyed your stay at My Lady Marge! Burtt is a great property manager and I heard that he enjoyed the boat ride as much as you. You are always welcome back.
Great location for boating, fishing, kayaking, swimming and enjoying the beauty and scenic St. Lawrence River. I caught a 16" wide mouth bass one day right in the cove here! The house is spacious, and well-appointed for small families-- a lovely timber frame with gorgeous views of the river from most angles of the home. Burtt, the property manager, greeted us upon arrival and gave us a very warm welcome! He was extremely helpful in pointing out specifics about the home, the area, things to do and places to eat, etc. Marjorie was a peach with also sending emails and other information ahead of time about her home, local food markets, and things to do in the local region. We appreciate that coming 8 hrs away.
Make sure you take all kayaks and canoes up to the garage each night-- we left them on the dock one night and one was whisked away in a wave/wake from a larger ship. Our mistake!
We had a wonderful time and would definitely come back again! Thank you, Marge-- we had such a wonderful time enjoying your home and really had a chance to relax, recoup-- we so appreciate the natural surroundings!
Take care,

I’m so happy that you enjoyed your stay at My Lady Marge!
We had a great time at My Lady Marge. The house was very clean and well equipped. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom and shower excellent and the breezes soothing. The grounds were well kept and very beautiful very much like a natural, northern garden with native plants and beautiful trees. The setting and location of the house is as good as it gets - very peaceful. I loved sitting on the deck and watching the action on the St Lawrence River and the fantastic sunsets. Seeing the freighters going up and down the St Lawrence was one of the highlights of the trip. There were 3-4 a day, never noisy, but very impressive. We really enjoyed the canoe and the kayaks and took multiple paddles with each. The swimming was great too. the water was clean and cool, which felt great on the hot summer days. We also made great use of the gas grill. Also have to give props to Burtt - the caretaker of the house. He was friendly, helpful with some tips about the kayak launch and locale, and helped my wife retrieve an item she had left behind.
We did break away from relaxing to take in some of the local attractions - visiting Alexandria Bay, Clayton and Boldt Castle. All were great - especially the castle. But it was the house, it's location, the peaceful surroundings, the geography of the area ( the house is built on a huge rock which can be seen in the basement - very cool) and the St Lawrence itself that made this trip very special and one that I'll continue to appreciate having experienced.

Hi Ed,
I enjoyed reading your comment. It's the house, the location, the river, and the fact it is very rural, quiet, and peaceful.
Marge
Check-in was easy, property manager was friendly and eager to help, home is beautiful, location is "one in a million." Will never ever forget our stay.
We had a wonderful time at the Lady Marge. The location is fantastic and the view of the river is spectacular. The house itself is beautiful, spacious and very comfortable. We've stayed at a number of places in that bay over many years and this is definitely at the top of list!
Nice timber frame house has expansive views to the west over the St lawrence. Dock in private cove made kayak and boat launching easy. Highly recommended!
This was our second stay at this property and we had a great time! The house has everything we could need, the view of the river is spectacular and swimming/kayaking in the cove and river is always fun! We’ll definitely be back
