This is a great 3 bedroom ranch located in Blind Bay, which is 15 minutes from Alex Bay, but still well within the 1000 Islands. This home sits in a quiet bay, and overlooks the channel. The channel is very close, and you'll have a great view of the ships going by. There is a private dock included, which can house a boat up to about 26 feet. There is also a private boat ramp. The house has 3 bedrooms (Queen size bed, Full size bed, and two twin beds in the 3rd bedroom). We do ask that you bring your own sheets and bath towels. A washer and dryer is provided.
PLEASE NOTE: DURING THE MONTHS OF JUNE/JULY/AUGUST, ALL RENTALS ARE SATURDAY TO SATURDAY. THANK YOU!

Just returned from a wonderful week long vacation at The Cindy. I loved the location and sitting on the deck overlooking the river. The house was clean and comfortable. Will definitely return next year!
We loved our week at The Cindy. It was comfortable and easy to take care of. The location was the best part. It was a quiet bay, but close to the shipping channel. The sunsets were beautiful, and the owners were great. We will definitely be back!

Thank you for visiting our cottage. I'm not quite sure what to make of your comment about the cottage not being private. It's a very large lot and Blind Bay is very quiet and tranquil in nature. This cottage does share a floating dock for boats only with the cottage next door. In our conversations, you stated you were having an absolutely awesome week, so I hope this was the case. We are always open to ways to enhance the renting experience.
Thank you again so much!
We loved staying at the "Cindy"! Laurie is an awesome hostess and very accommodating! The location was great for ship watching and sunsets!! Fishing off the rocks was convenient. Could not ask for a better location in the islands. Looking forward to spending another week at the "Cindy" next year!

Thank You for your kind words, we are so glad you enjoyed your stay in Blind Bay. Also, thank you for leaving the cottage so immaculate, we can’t tell you how much we appreciate wonderful tenants like you. We would love to see you again next summer!
"The Cindy" is a clean, comfortable place to stay on the St Lawrence!! The view and ship watching from the deck or sitting on the point is awesome. We rented a pontoon boat and got out on the river fishing. It is so quiet and peaceful! We look forward to returning in the fall!!!

Thank you for your kind words, we repainted all the woodwork this spring so I’m glad you enjoyed the brightness of it! We value all our repeat customers so much, thank you again and we’re so glad you enjoyed your stay!
The cottage was clean, decorated very nicely, very quiet neighborhood off the beaten path. The deck was excellant, the view of the ships passing by was great, the shipping channel is right there. The dock for our boat was good and to launch it you have 2 options close by. What would make it perfect is the addition of A/C. Laurie is very nice.

Great location! Loved seeing the freighters go by so close! The cottage was clean and I liked all the shelving space as the 6 of us brought way too much, lol. The kitchen had everything you needed! Tom and Laurie were wonderful people!
The only thing I would mention is that when rentals say 2 twin beds, it means a trundle bed. Not so easy for older adults.

Thank you so much for your kind words, and we are so glad you enjoyed your stay. I sincerely appreciate your comments on the trundle bed, I never really gave it much thought. I will clarify the listing for future rentals, or maybe just two twin beds would be a better idea in general. Thank you again! We hope to see you again, warm regards, Laurie
Two couples stayed third week of June 2022, after a very bad storm that hit on Thursday, before arriving Friday. Fishing was tough for days, but worth the wait the last day caught a 40" Pike and 7lb small mouth. Loved the house and location. Only recommendation would be air conditioning. The hosts were absolutely amazing!

The Cindy is a cute 3 bedroom cottage. One bathroom, good kitchen, easy parking. The best part is the view of the St. Lawrence River - from inside and outside the cottage! Easy access to a dock for kayaking and boats. The only challenge was the heat the week we were there. No ac, no breeze. It was a great week to eat lots of ice cream! Owners are very friendly and easy to access.
Great place sunset was beautiful. Caught a lot of fish off the dock. Owners were very nice make sure that we had all that we needed. Just a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the view. Lots of ships went by we took lots of pictures. Would go back again.
Great views of the river and was a very relaxing week on the river!
Excellent location on the river with great views of the ships! The secluded bay was excellent for kayaking and to take the dog swimming. We love the islands and it was great to be back after a 3 year hiatus.
Laurie and Tom were great! Anything I needed they responded. I will be definitely be staying here again! Love the tranquility of the area but just a short drive to A-Bay!
Nice spot on Blind Bay , great view of the river
We had a fantastic fishing week.
The house is great bargain for 3 guys on a fishing trip.
Laurie and Tom are good hosts.
Thanks ! We will be back. 😎👍
Found the "Cindy" to be fully stocked, clean and comfortable. Great place to come back to after we toured the country and waterway near by. Would do it again.
