Welcome To "Pearl".
Pearl, a Charleston styled retreat, was named Pearl because she's like a beautiful Southern Pearl. Pearl is located in the highly sought after Buck Island Community and just a quick 4-5-minute walk to Corolla Beach. Buck Island is a gorgeous, gated community that offers: a pool, tennis/pickle ball courts, basketball court, playground, and a beach cabana with restrooms, beach amenities for rent, and snacks.
Walk across the street to Tim Buck II where you can explore delicious restaurants and local shops. While you're there, let the kids head over to go-kart, mini golf, or take the family parasailing. If you prefer golfing, the Currituck Club is just down the street. Lastly, if you are seeking other world renown attractions, you are minutes away from: The Currituck Lighthouse, The Whalehead Club, or a Wild Horse Tour on Carova Beach in a 4x4. Deepsea fishing is not far either. Book a day trip out of Oregon Inlet (where the show Wicked Tuna: Outer Banks is filmed).

While on the ground floor, enjoy a game of cornhole while making memories with the crew. Throw a burger or steak on the grill while grabbing your favorite liquid refreshment from the downstairs fridge. The ground floor offers an extra refrigerator, an outside shower, an enclosed patio area with a dining table that seats 8, a sofa seating area and 2 lounge chairs. A gas grill, 3 bikes, 8 beach chairs, umbrellas, and 3 boogie boards make vacationing easy.
Once you step inside, you'll fall in love with the Coastal Charleston charm of this home. This five-bedroom home has 3.5 baths and is in a prime location and offers everything you need for an ultimate beach vacation!
The bottom features: A two-car garage with foosball and ping pong tables for hours of fun! A large bedroom with a queen and twin bed. And a separate bathroom with a tub/shower.
Second floor features: 1 king suite with private bath / 1 queen bedroom / 1 large king bedroom with an extra fold up twin bed / A large full bath in the hallway / A full laundry area / 2 linen closets.
The top level of this stunning Corolla home is your main living space. You'll be spending plenty of time in the great room living area with all the perks. A large sectional sofa and 75-inch TV are all you and your family or friends need for a good time together. There's also another bedroom with a queen-sized bed. Deck access with a large table that seats 6 and a smaller table that seats 2. The beautiful new kitchen has granite countertops, brand-new stainless-steel appliances and an additional bar area and is sure to please the chef/bartender in you. Well-equipped with everything you will need to make a wonderful meal for all. Gather around the dining room table and enjoy a meal with the crew. The dining area seats a lot of guests: 10-12 at the table and 5 at the island. Or you can choose to dine outside and enjoy the panoramic views off of the deck.

All 5 bedrooms have flat screen smart TV's.
Livingroom has a 75-inch smart TV.

We provide sheet and towel service including: all sheets, bath towels, wash cloths, beach towels and kitchen towels— (beds will be made with sheets upon your arrival and towel sets in each bathroom).

Guests with young children are well accommodated. Pearl has: 2 cribs, 1 highchair, 2 booster seats, and 1 pack & play, 1 infant tub, and 1 umbrella stroller. In addition, you will find books, puzzles and games for all ages.

Parking notes: Plenty of parking is available. 3 cars in the driveway.
There are also 4 additional lots in Buck Island that guests are welcome to use.

Note about Fireplace: Not turned on from May 1- Oct 31

No Smoking of any kind
No trailers/campers/rented golfcarts are allowed in Buck Island

It is our policy to rent to family groups or couples over 25 only. Tenants must be at least 25 years of age to enter in our Vacation Rental Agreement, which must be submitted with an ID. Rentals are (6-day minimums in June, July and August. Check-in days for summer months are Sunday or Monday and check out days are Saturday or Sunday.)
(September through May are only 4 day minimums with check in and check out days any day.)
