Truly stunning, both inside and location. Ideally situated within short walk to most major sites in Valletta. Loved having morning coffee or evening glass of wine on rooftop terrace. Two delicious Italian restaurants a 3-5 minute walk. Only warning: located on steep incline and lots of steps inside.
Stayed here as a family of 5 in July, beautiful house, lovely roof top garden for catching the sun

Great location and apartment but in need of deep clean and some love
The location is fantastic, within seconds of great restauarants and bars and all the sights. The apartment is atmospheric and full of character. We were grateful to be able to drop our bags early prior to the official chekck-in time.
However, there were also some serious disadvantages. The apartment is 'tired' and in need of some love and attention, especially the soft-furnishings which were stained and dirty, including the dining room chairs, the sofa, and all of the cushions on the rooftop terrace. The apartment was superficially clean but there was dust and dirt everywhere, including dead plants, dirt on the rooftop terrace, dirt on the picture frames, and literally piles of sand/dirt behind doors and along the walls. I realise this is a challenge with old limestone walls that shed 'sand' but it would have taken weeks for this amount of dirt and sand to accumulate. The kitchen is fine if you don't really want to do any cooking - we struggled to cook meals for 6 people owing to a random assortment of plates, glasses, pots and utensils. Lightbulbs were missing, lamps not working (including cut cords so couldn't even plug in). Given the price paid we were expecting more for our money.
Looking back at other reviews these issues have been raised previously so I can only assume the owner, desite reassuring me that action would be taken when I contacted him, is not really interested in addresssing these issues.
