Middle of a hurricane, so the area was in recovery mode. Unable to get into our reserved unit right away, but the property manager made other arrangements. Verynice place, just in a neighborhood away from the carnage beachside. Outstanding support and communicationfrom the property management team!!
We were quite pleased when we walked in the door of the condo. It was well laid out and very clean. The lanai overlooking the canal was a wonderful surprise, and the screened in front entrance was perfect for keeping beach shoes, etc out of the main condo. The beds were quite comfortable. The property manager was prompt to reply about any questions or requests we had. We did notice clutter around (old window blinds, mismatched quilts, etc). Also,there was only one bed blanket in the condo. Did not report to manager, we used our own blankets. We didn't use the pull-out couch, but it was quite old and squeeky when sat on. The kitchen was well stocked, but in my opinion, overloaded with multiple dish sets, old pans,etc. Needed reorganizing and downsizing. Would have appreciated an empty cupboard to keep our non-perishables in. I believe the owner was using the condo the week following us, and hopefully will be doing some spring cleaning and updating.The location was very good, with most stores within walking distance. The pool area was basic but clean. Could use a few more umbrellas for shade and some side tables. The condo had an outside storage area which had a nice beach wagon, umbrella, even swimmies but had not been cleaned out in some time and was crammed with broken beach items. We organized it a bit while there and threw out obviously broken items.Overall, really enjoyed our stay. For post hurricane, the cleanup was impressive. Would stay here again.

blood on mattress, throw pillow, mattress pad. black mold in freezer, mold in shower bed pillows were filthy. area rug filthy, cabinets inside and out dirty, washer and dryer filthy,lanai very dirty, painting of walls was incomplete, dingy bed linens, uncomfortable sofa and chairs,mouldings and doors in poor painted condition, paint dripped on tiles and hardware, drapery panels dirty, flooring and ceiling fans outdated, throw rugs and quite a few towels dingy and old, black mold on windowsill, vacuum cleaner didn't work, washer and dryer filthy, unused items stuffed in closets, faux greenery dusty. I spent hours of my vacation cleaning! The pictures on line are very deceiving! I think the fact that there was blood stains on items this place should be considered a biohazard!

We appreciate guest feedback—even when it reads more like creative fiction than a factual review.
To clarify: this guest called us 13 times on the night of check-in. Topics ranged from not being able to use the Xfinity remote (despite having the exact same one at home) to calling three separate times about the Wi-Fi password. For the record, it’s printed—clearly—on a laminated welcome sheet; after the third call, we even asked him to read it aloud. It was there.
Over the following 27 days, we fielded an additional 50 calls and texts, responding promptly to nearly every inquiry—even those far beyond typical host duties.
As for “black mold” on the windowsill—it was exterior mildew on a third-story window, not an interior health hazard. Had any serious issues existed, one would expect a photo, a message, or at least a mention during one of those 63 communications. None were received.
Our home is professionally cleaned and inspected before each stay, and our many 5-star reviews attest to that. No property is perfect for every traveler, but describing our well-maintained home as a disaster zone after 63 chances to raise genuine concerns is simply misleading.
