Absolutely beautiful home in the perfect spot in Raleigh! We were downtown in about a five minute drive. Check-in was seamless and directions to off street parking behind the home was perfect! On our last night there, I entered the security code in the door incorrectly causing it to reset. The host was incredibly responsive and we waited less than 5 minutes for a resolution. We travel to Raleigh quite a bit for concerts and this will be our new "home" for weekend stays.
The place was as demonstrated in the photos. No surprises there. Very clean with the amenities!!!The bed is extremely firm!!!! I had to sleep in the sofa which wasn’t comfortable either!!! That was the only concern. Hence the 4 instead of 5.Nice place! Easy access to everything!!! We enjoyed our stay! Definitely recommended!!!
I only stayed a couple nights , but the property had everything I needed. A pitcher with a filter in the fridge would be amazing, but other than that, all was well.
Our stay here was amazing! So clean and spacious! Also prime location to walk to bars, and within a 5-10 min drive of amazing restaurants! Would definitely stay here again!
We had a wonderful stay - such a wonderful historic home. Had everything you could ask for. Justin was always quick to reply to messages. Thank you so much. If we are back in the area, we hope to stay here again. Thank you so much.
The property had all that was needed for our stay. The kitchen was modern and nicely decorated. It was perfect for our stay and close to local restaurants and eateries. Justin was a great host, very helpful and accommodating with some of our requests. I would stay here again .
This place is really cute, and the location is really great, very close to a whole bunch of things to do, great bars and restaurants. Just keep in mind that it’s an older building so if you’re a light sleeper the notice in the neighborhood could definitely wake you up. I was fine, but my husband was up often
It was a bright, light-filled historic apartment. Lovely updates and thoughtful inclusions, especially in the kitchen space. All the tools I needed to cook for the time I was there. So lovely.
My wife & I spent 4 nights at apartment. It was wonderful. Exactly as the photos show. We were completely impressed with everything in the apartment. We knew the location in Raleigh well, so this stay just enhanced our visit. We will certainly stay hear again. My correspondence with Justin was returned quickly. He answered every question I had.
They apartment is in the most wonderful location. You're just a few minutes from anything you could want and within walking distance to beautiful neighborhoods for walking or a small hub of shops (Five Points). The upstairs apartment was spacious and allowed for a quiet stay. The off-street parking was a huge bonus for us and the communication was all fast. The only thing to note is that some of the renovations, little things like paint beginning to peal, are not absolutely perfect. The majority of the space is just exactly what you would want in a restored, older home. The street noise from this apartment in the back was super minimal too. Really for the price, I doubt there is anything in close to how great this place is. We'd recommend it 100 times over.
My fiancé and I were in town for a friend’s baby shower, and had never been to Raleigh, so we made a long weekend trip out of it. Our stay at Acorn Manor was great. Justin gave us detailed check-in instructions that were easy to follow. This specific unit (there were 4 on the property) required climbing an enclosed set of stairs, so I would recommend one of the other listings at Acorn Manor if you are unable to walk up stairs. Included were: towels, linens, shampoo/conditioner/body wash, hand soap, dish soap, fully-stocked kitchen (even some aluminum foil which was nice to have for reheating leftovers), which was very convenient. A TON of natural light which was really nice. Property was clean, air-conditioning and window unit in bedroom worked well, and there was hot water. Maximum drive to any destination in Raleigh that we visited was only 5-10 minutes. Great place, would stay again.
