Just what everyone would want in a vacation home.We take a yearly trip to Gunnison and will definitely try to stay here again. We were able to meet the owners at the end of our stay and they wanted to make sure we had a good experience. Very nice people!

The house was amazing, and provided us a great place to relax after each day of elk hunting. Its location was very convenient to get to town, and to our favorite hunting areas. I would definitely recommend this property to anyone wanting a nice comfortable place to stay while in the Gunnison area.

Great place for group of six

Three couples, 65+, very active - we loved this place for its beauty, its location, and the opportunity it afforded us to be together for several days. It provided the perfect launchpad for a variety of activities in the area. The hosts were responsive, friendly and helpful.

This house was one of the most well-equipped/stocked properties we’ve ever stayed in. The kitchen had any appliance, spice or oil you could want and the bathrooms had plenty of nice towels, name brand toilet paper and tissue, and shampoo/conditioner and soap in all showers. It’s super close to the university (where our son attends) and to town as well. It’s a 10/10 for cleanliness, use of space, communication with the owner and location!!Also, my husband didn’t feel well the day we had to check out and the hosts were kind enough to give us a late check out so he had a place to stay until he could check into a hotel.

Best vacation rental so for in Gunnison

It's a newly built home, but the owners of this property have upgraded more things than other rentals in Gunnison, like toilet paper, beds and bedding and the use of the garage. The owners take pride in making your stay pleasant. I would highly recommend this comfortable rental, better than 5 star

The house is just on the edge of town. Great place for our trips out to Blue Mesa! Plenty of room for everyone to spread out. Very comfortable setting!

Perfect home away from home

We loved this place! It was spacious, cozy, and has an excellent floor plan. The entryway was great for all of our winter gear, and the kitchen/ dining/ living room was open for visiting. Our family of 7 had a great time- skiing at Crested Butte and the Nordic Center. We loved having the kids on the basement level. The in-floor heating was a bonus. I can't think of any detail that wasn't considered in making this a perfect getaway. We would definitely come again!

The very best VRBO

My son goes to college at Western Colorado University and stayed over Christmas break to work on the mountain. I braved the frigid cold January temps in Gunnison to spend a week with him. The kitchen was absolutely perfect for cooking big meals for he and his friends. I had everything I needed, including a crockpot, blender, etc…) The owners were wonderfully accommodating and I would definitely stay here again. The home is new and perfectly designed to accommodate a big family or group. I’m always amazed AND thankful that people share their homes with strangers. I have learned to look at host fees and cleaning fees first and appreciate the owners who keep these reasonable.

Why they chose this property

Away from the crowds of Denver and I70 traffic, access to huge National Forest land with outstanding activities. Gunnison is very convenient, all the services close by, and easy access to the nicest areas. Our house is walking distance to grocery, Walmart, Tractor Supply, Liquor store, many restaurants, shops, Tennis/Pickleball and free shuttle bus to Crested Butte and ski slopes. ~1 mile from Western Colorado University/College
