Juniper Cottage on Bailey Island – A Peaceful, Relaxing, CLEAN Vacation

Juniper Cottage on Bailey Island is ready to be your oasis in the coming summer months. This charming shake shingle summer home was originally built in 1905 and is renovated with deluxe and modern furniture and finishings. Situated upon a stunning ¾ acre yard, a highlight of the cottage is the screened porch leading to a large outdoor deck with a brand new barbecue and a cozy fire pit (wood included). It is the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach (a short walk away!) and enjoy a family barbecue while overlooking the beautiful organic vegetable, fruit, and flower gardens. The fresh vegetables, raspberries, and blueberries are yours for the taking!

Beach chairs, badminton sets, horseshoes, and water toys are available for your day at the house or at beautiful Cedar Beach. Don’t miss out on taking a walk out to the island at low tide!

Enjoy convenient day trips to lighthouses, state parks, and outlet shopping. Don’t miss out on visiting the famous Mackerel Cove. Have dinner at local restaurants such as the famed Cook’s Lobster House.

We are happy to arrange a private sunset sail on a yacht for an additional fee.

We understand concerns about cleanliness and health precautions during these times and as as such the cottage is deep cleaned and sanitized in between every stay. We follow CDC protocols and guidelines for deep cleaning and sanitization. We are also using EPA-registered disinfectants (https://www.epa.gov/pesticide-registration/list-n-disinfectants-use-against-sars-cov-2) for cleaning surfaces, electronics, and linens, and we ourselves follow prospering hand washing and hygiene when cleaning. There is no cleaner and safer place to be!

Please note that the property manager regularly checks on the property to ensure all is in order and that there are no additional guests beyond the ones specified when the home is booked. This way we can make sure the septic system is not overwhelmed by having more than the original number of people authorized, leading to a far more comfortable stay.
