The cabin is great for 3-4 Adults. The water view is outstanding. The local watermen (clams & lobster) are terrific! This was our 7th visit to this property!
My second stay here and just as good as the first time. Cute (yes, small) and clean. All the basic amenities that you could possibly need in the kitchen; we cooked every meal there. On site kayaks and fire pit are wonderful to have. Beautiful location and close to other activities. Will stay again!

I am so glad that your stay was near family and you enjoyed being at camp. You are so careful and caring about our dear cottage. We would like to clone you!!
Even on the hottest day of the year, there was a cool breeze. The overhead fans were great, too. And did I mention the sunsets? Lobster boats to watch, a grill for dinner every night. The whole week was just lovely.

The cottage is perfectly situated for peaceful boat watching, and close to a lot of great restaurants. I had great weather and a lovely visit. Friends came to lunch one day and were blown away by the beauty of this spot. Everything was great!
What a pleasure to stay on the water's edge in this peaceful place. It had everything I needed to enjoy the week, and was convenient to a number of really good restaurants where I visited with friends. I hope I get to come back!

Virginia,
It was our pleasure to share our special place with you. I hope you return for another stay.
The perfect Maine cabin stay! Ruth anticipated all of our needs before we did by making sure the kitchen had all sorts of gadgets, providing outdoor games, board games and anything else that our family need while we were “Upta Camp”. We enjoyed the peaceful neighborhood, dock, and the seal that my daughter named lovey dovey who would make his daily appearance at dusk. The sunsets were absolutely gorgeous! We can’t wait to come back!
Great week at the cottage. Weather was spectacular. We kept our kayak on the dock. It is so easy to take a paddle. Lovely week

What wonderful weather. Wish we could guarantee the same for all our guests. The cottage was treated kindly, and we would love to invite you back next year.
My best friend and I spent a week relaxing in this clean and cozy cottage. We cooked all our meals there and the tiny kitchen had just what we needed. We used the fire pit as many nights as possible, did a lot of walking and some kayaking. Spent time sitting inside by the window enjoying the view of the water and the antics of the birds and squirrels at the feeder.
We’ll be back again.

Classic Maine
This is the second year we've stayed here. Lovely scaled cottage with a great vibe, and with a view that you absolutely can't beat. Bath and the surrounding areas are off the beaten path, and not crowded, even in the height of summer. The Phippsburg Peninsula alone is interesting enough for a whole week. Then there's Georgetown,. and the Harpswells..... It's a perfect spot, with a very gracious host! We'll be back, same time next year.

I am 85 years young and had problems navigating around. The bed was uncomfortable as the sheets wouldn’t tuck in and were much too soft! The view was incredible and we loved it! The air was so crisp and clean! We would be willing to try it again with different sheets. We would like more room for our belongings! The Nivisons
Overall enjoyed our stay. Some of the living room furniture is soiled and should be cleaned or replaced. The shower wasn't great ( limited hot water) and had to plunge the toilet almost daily.
We enjoyed our stay in this sweet cottage immensely. Such a peaceful setting and neighborhood! The cottage is comfortably furnished and has many household and personal items thoughtfully left in case guests might need them. We enjoyed outings to Popham Beach, Reid St Park, Morse Mountain and other parts of mid-coast Maine. We also enjoyed staying at the cottage to use the kayaks to explore the river and sitting around watching the tide rise and fall. We highly recommend the cottage for anyone looking to relax in a beautiful setting.
What lovely owners! And what a lovely woodsy spot, on a winding back road about 15 minutes from nearby town of Bath. If you are looking for seclusion and a taste of authentic old Maine camps, this is it! Pretty water view, especially from the cozy living room and the deck. We spent much of our time on the deck, and enjoying the hammock. The owners think of everything, even spring water. The property comes with a private dock, a little hard to access, down narrow paths on uncertain ground, with a steep incline when tide is low. But it includes two wonderful kayaks, and our kids enjoyed the two bikes, beach toys etc. Owners are so thoughtful and great communicators. Too many homely touches to count. The bedrooms are tiny, --the master bedroom too, which could use a new cushier mattress--and so is the 3/4 bathroom with shower, but you'll want to spend most of your time outside anyway, enjoying the great view, the peace, the woods, the water and so much to explore within a couple of hours in any direction. Acadia National Park is only a few hours north and L L Bean less than an hour south. You will truly feel as if you are living in someone's treasured little family gem-- which indeed you are. We hope to return!

About the host
Hosted by Ruth Page
'Hello and welcome to our cottage. My family had this cottage built in 1952, I was 10 at the time. We moved into Birch Point the day school ended, and stayed for the entire summer. We only left for food shopping and laundry, and baths when my mother couldn't stand it anymore. We hated those days, an interruption in our activities of swimming every high tide, digging quahogs, fishing with snails, rowing our leaky wooden skiff and walking at dusk looking for our friends to join us. Oh, and the camp has a name 'Pamasonsis'. Some think it's a Native American name, but if you divide by syllables, it is our family of 4; Pa-Ma-Son-Sis. I love seeing the beautiful sunsets, hearing the lobster boats, seeing the water reflect the sun on the living room ceiling, and hearing the robins chirp early each morning. We hope you make some wonderful memories here too. I still believe that this is a magical place...Enjoy!!' Sincerely, The Page's
What makes this property unique
Enjoy privacy, kayaking, boating, swimming, hiking, sightseeing, or watching lobster boats troll and pull traps on the inlet from the deck. Boasts a small private cove accessed during low tide and the most beautiful sunsets the coast of Maine has to offer.
