The property is walking distance to downtown which is awesome! The pool was a huge hit for the kids and the outdoor space is perfect for hanging out! Will definitely be back if we are in this area again!
Had a small family reunion, the house is clean and very well stocked, lots of amenities, TVs in all the bedrooms, the beds were comfortable, the pool was great, they had pots, pans, dishes, spices, towels, washer dryer, the house is dated but clean and well furnished. Dog friendly a plus for us
Loved our time here! Hosts were amazing, house was comfortable and homey. Kids loved the time in the pool. Location was perfect! Able to walk around downtown yet drive and visit other cool places in MI. Will be back!
The property was perfect for a weekend getaway! Walking distance to downtown, as well as a few beautiful parks. The pool was awesome and the bomb-fire pit at night made for some extra fun! I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for an easy stay with family or friends.
Comfortable beds, everything you need for kitchen and bath, close to everything. We stayed in the winter so couldn't enjoy the other half of the listing, so looking forward to that later this year. Great stay in West Branch. Will stay again.
The host was easy to communicate with. Everything was as expected. It was perfect for a weekend golf trip to West Branch. Will be coming back for sure.
Can’t speak highly enough about this property. We had a multigenerational family here for a local family reunion. Great space and layout that everybody enjoyed! We look forward in returning!
Lots of room, space was comfortable and clean. It was nice that everyone had a bed & there was space to spare. The grill, patio & pool are a great feature. (We loved the pool cleaning robot, lol.) Close enough to walk downtown.
Excellent layout for 2 families to share for a weekend of baseball. Close to the fields and downtown restaurants.
The pool was a perfect bonus, although the weather didn’t cooperate for the kids to jump in!
This place was AMAZING, great location, great neighborhood, AMAZING host.
Ben was absolutely a great person to deal with, he was available for questions and provided great service to me and my group. We will definitely use Ben again for our accommodations if need be.
Thank you Ben!
The house accommodated us well, we all were comfortable for the short time we were there in between rehearsal dinner and the Saturday wedding @ Willow Creek Barn, The venue was less than ten minutes away so that was a bonus! It is October so we did not use the pool, the pool house was used, it needs to be finished, One big concern was the sulfur smell of the water for showers, we did not drink it.
Never been to West Branch, this was the perfect way to enjoy it. Hung out by the pool first day and was able to quickly walk downtown for dinner at the brewery and caught a movie at the old school theater across the street. Next day we walked around the downtown, went to a few nice antique stores and saw that a pretty big art fair was going on in a park down the street. They had a ton of vendors selling local stuff. Came back in time to sit by the pool and order a pizza. Overall great experience and value.
Ben was very communicative and accommodating throughout the entire process. He made sure that we had all of the the things necessary to help make my toddler and infant as comfortable as possible (including leaving out an extra pack-n-play, toys, fans, etc.). Having the two separate buildings was very useful to superset the kids with different schedules and keeping the crying infant from waking up the rest of the family. Would definitely recommend and stay here again!
This lovely property has a inground pool, that is perfect for kids or just hanging out... not much deeper than 5ft at the deepest spot. The "bunkhouse" was amazing, but very warm during the day... definitely bring fans... Can tell that some renovations have been done and may still be in the works, but doesnt affect the coziness of the home! We had a large group of 10 it fit us all comfortably! Communication with property owners was wonderful as well! The only thing that we wished was a bit different or that they should consider is a pool shower or change room outside or in bunkhouse so you dont have to go inside all wet from pool.
The property is well cared for and comfortable. My family enjoyed themselves. We liked so much it was within walking distance. A few suggestions though. Let us know pool isn’t heated. It was late afternoon before it warmed up enough to use for us. Would suggest dressers to put belongings in as there weren’t any available. If not, then at least someplace to put suitcases rather than the floor. We would visit again.

The kitchen was really old
and run down. A lot of the drawers would stick and were hard to open. Bathrooms defintely could use some updating. The bedrooms have no closets or dressers to put your cloths in. The pool did not look like the pictures
Very old and run down. The neighbors dogs barked alot even at night. Not much to do in West Branch!

Sherry I am so sorry to hear you didn’t enjoy your time in West Branch! Had you reached out to me I could have told you about the 100s of great things to do in West Branch like tubing, parks, lakes, golf TONS of great stuff! Yes two of the 5 bedrooms dont have dressers and we do this to save space but we offer totes under each bed so guests still have the to unpack and I apologize for not making that more obvious. Our cozy little kitchen is far from modern but we like its “up north charm” and you forgot to mention that it has everything you could ever need! I can’t see how you could not absolutely love your time around the pool but ya can’t make everyone happy.
West Branch is a great place to vacation and we hope that you will try West Branch again! Next time bring your golf clubs, book a trip at whites canoe livery or just take walk to the river and have a picnic. West Branch has something for everyone!
