About this property

Great cabin...close to everything

Cozy private cabin in a quiet area near the slopes and shopping. Great room features a floor to ceiling stone fireplace which is gas and wood burning. There's a gourmet kitchen with new stainless steel appliances, a refrigerator with ice and filtered water dispenser, modern washer and dryer, 2 Queen beds & 1 Cal King bed. The yard features a metal gazebo fire pit sitting area. The fire pit & BBQ are natural gas. Outdoor wood burning is not permitted per city ordinance.
The space
This cozy cabin is great for your ultimate ski vacation, a quiet romantic getaway, or maybe you're having a celebration with friends., or just want to get away from it all. Now is the perfect time. Great in the Winter for Skiing, and in the Summer for the Lake, Hiking, and just relaxing. Sanitized before your stay.
You can rest assured that when you first come to this cabin, you will be entering a sanitized virus-free setting. In between each guest, the cabin undergoes a stringent sterilization process that goes above and beyond the highest standards recommended. We utilize the latest technology of Electrostatic Spraying which sanitizes 100% of surfaces which you may come into contact with. They are treated with a safe EPA registered cleaner, disinfectant, detergent, food contact sanitizer, and virucide that is listed by the EPA to be effective against the Human Corona Virus / SARS-CoV-2.
Guest access
You have access to the whole house and everything on the property, except for the garage. That is used for storage and supplies.
Other things to note
There is a 5 burner gas BBQ on the back deck available for use, and the grill utensil set inside one of the drawers in the kitchen. The home has a keyless entry system...and when you reserve the cabin, you will be provided with a code the night before your scheduled check-in. Each shower is stocked with a body wash, shampoo, and conditioner dispenser. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you'll need to cook, including spices. There’s also a regular coffee maker as well as a Kuerig coffee maker. The home also features the virtual assistant "Alexa". Ask her anything you need to know about local weather, attractions, restaurants, etc. Just call her name to get her attention and ask your question. For those bringing pets, the yard does have fencing surrounding 3 sides, with the house being on the 4th side. However, 1 side of that fencing is a split rail wooden fence, which would not necessarily keep a pet from wondering out if left unattended. You would not want to leave your pet unattended in a yard in Big Bear anyway though because there is wildlife there which includes coyotes, bears, and bobcats...and a fence would not keep those animals out (unless it was super high and maybe electrified). There is a portable AC unit that can be used during those rare times in Summer when it gets really hot. I usually have it set-up in the Master bedroom in the Summer. There is also emergency lighting in the main living areas of the house in case there should be a power outage in the area.
