Direct lakefront access with gorgeous views on a private lake. This beautiful 1930's lakefront cottage was fully renovated and reimagined by its owners in 2021. Custom architectural trim and details can be found throughout blending this homes' heritage with modern amenities. 2 bedrooms, eat-in kitchen and window seat nook, 2 full baths, custom barn doors and cabinetry, a reimagined sunroom, beautiful views on 100' of accessible lake frontage with outdoor patio, 1 mile from town center. Modern design with historic accents, cozy and comfortable.

Free onsite parking, private drive, large enough for 3 cars. Our cottage can comfortably accommodate 5 guests or less. Guest entrance and parking: Accessible parking spot, Lit path to the guest entrance, Step-free path to the guest entrance.

Other things to note: Historic Farmington, music and poetry festivals, hiking, biking, fishing, skiing and upscale dining all close by.

Lake escape

The house is exactly as pictured. I rented this property because it had no stairs and was easily accessible for the elderly people in my group. My only issue was the access to the lake is very very steep and there was no way they could have walked it. There is no deck, so no outside sitting area for someone who cannot walk the step incline to the lake. Otherwise, the stay was as expected.

Why they chose this property

We live in a friendly tranquil lake community with lots of families, both human and furry :-). We have 3 beaches in the area, one 5 min walk from our home. We have raised our family here and live in the neighborhood.

We have 100' of lake frontage, beautiful views in every season, in a tranquil spot yet are close to activities, restaurants, etc.
