Creekside is a very special ( located 20 feet from the creek ), 2 bedroom / 2 bathroom cabin that can sleep up to 6 guests. You can sleep comfortably to the sounds of rushing water in the king size master bed, two full beds or the queen sleeper. Amenities include: 4 person soothing Hot Tub, free fast speed reliable Wi-Fi, 3 HDTVs with Directv service, and one BLUE RAY player, a spacious, fully equipped kitchen, a massive exterior hard-wood decks that includes cedar rocking chairs. A wood burning stove and outdoor fire pits, free fire wood is provided. Hiking trails and the privacy of your own creek are just footsteps away from the home! This is a mountain cabin rental that takes mountaintop luxury to a new summit!

Perfect Mountain Retreat

This cabin was wonderful. We stay in VRBO rentals several times a year. This place was the BEST! The owner thought of everything. We loved that the cabin felt remote, but was close to town. The sounds of the creek were so relaxing. We definitely plan to return.

Beautiful property

Really unique, private setting, very relaxing listening to the creek glide past the rocks from the porch, and the house was very cozy. The tire swing and creek even kept our teens entertained, it felt like they were little kids again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The daily plan was a long hike, a nice lunch and a brewery. The dogs loved it as much as we did. Did a lot of walking through the property all times of day and night, the stars are great. Really enjoyed and will be back for sure..

We arrived at Creekside to spend our Honeymoon, looking for a quiet place to unwind , hike and spend time with each other and our two dogs. The grounds are amazing and private with fire pits and hammocks. The home was clean , very nicely decorated with every detail covered even a complimentary bottle of our favorite wine . We did not want to leave it truly was the perfect escape . We will be back soon and highly recommend this lovely place ,

Heaven in the Mountains

Log cabin at creek side was more than amazing, the scenery creek , the cabin was very impressive. The peace and tranquility was beautiful. You would never have to leave the home. Lovely walking trials and picturesque views. The cabin itself was more than awesome, everything was provided, all you needed was food. Black mountain , Chimney rock just minutes away. We are definitely going back to stay there again, so so peaceful and beautiful.

Black Mountain Creekside

Although the checkin process was delayed due to the previous guests who trashed the cabin, once inside it was perfect! The cabin and grounds were spotless. The creek was gorgeous and we loved being beside it. The location to Black Mountain was close and we loved it’srestaurants and shops. This was a much needed getaway for personal reasons and it couldn’t have been better. Mike, the manager, was most helpful. The only downfall is the rough road getting to the property. Other than that, we couldn’t have been happier with our stay.

Best vacation ever

After 4 months of quarantine in the city, coming to Mike's cabin was everything our family needed. The cabin is in the most peaceful setting, with the creek running to one side and the deck overlooking the creek and woods. Mike anticipated our every need and the cabin was perfectly appointed. We felt cocooned in peace and quiet. When we needed a few extra towel, Mike dropped them at the door right away. Very responsive and helpful. He has other cabins on the mountain and sometimes we'd see other visitors playing in the creek or on the tire swing, but it was nice to see them and know that we weren't alone in the middle of the woods. There were rain storms that we watched from the deck, and after hikes we could climb into the hot tub. We didn't want to leave!

Love this place!

This is our second time to one of Mike's cabins. Last year we stayed in Mitchell View. This year we were at Creekside. Both are fabulous! Being from Florida we usually look for the long range mountain views but Creekside was so cozy and beautiful. We were pleasantly surprised. The pictures really do not do the properties proper justice! We were lucky enough to get snow again this year. I was able to sit downstairs and watch it snow overnight while the family slept. The kids flew down the stairs in the morning and right out the door! We love Black Mountain and we love Mike and his cabins. He is super helpful weather email, text or in person. We usually don't return to places but we make an exception here. Thanks Mike!

Cabin perfection!

Look no further! This cabin is exactly what you are looking for. Want to walk in the door to a warm welcome? Sleep in a bed more comfortable than your own? Enjoy fires with firewood already chopped for you? Be amazed by beauty all around you from creeks to hiking trails to Bon fire pits? Have everything (and I mean everything) you need for cooking? A clean, working, relaxing hot tub? I could go on and on. You have found it! Our family truly enjoyed this cabin. We were well taken care of and thought about from the moment it started snowing on us to having roads plowed the next day so we could get out if we wanted to...which we didn't! Mike was extremely helpful and available when I had questions and made the whole process a breeze. Thank you for sharing your cabin. We are already planning our return. Relax, with beautiful views

The cabin is lovely, much care and thought has been put into the space. The creek is beautiful, has little waterfalls and sounds amazing. Lots of extras like trails, grill, picnic tables, rockers, fire pit, hammock, covered porch with covered hot tub. Amazing stay highly recommend! The stars are beautiful and you see them well from the porch. Good exterior lighting. Host is very responsive. The property is very clean. The outside furniture is ready to be enjoyed! The road going in is a one lane mountain road with little shoulder space. Parts of it are gravel and a little steep. We have a 2 wheel drive low clearance vehicle and it was able to do the roads, but it felt better to stay at the cabin. It’s got so much to enjoy there that you don’t need to leave. It’s about 15 minutes or so to in town and just a short drive from Asheville and Biltmore estate. Folk art center is also great if you like art, has local artists and demonstrations. There is a short flight of stairs from where you park to the front door, and another short flight of stairs from the porch to the ground. The property is really lovely. There are some other cabins nearby, but feels very secluded. Feels like an escape into nature. It’s wonderful to be surrounded by it’s beauty. One of my favorite trips I have had.if you are looking for time away from the hustle and bustle this cabin is a wonderful place to slow down and just appreciate the beauty of nature.

Excellent property with awesome host!

My wife and I stayed here for her bday weekend. For the first time ever, we only left to go to the store! The cabin has an awesome location right next to the river and Mike and his wife are excellent hosts!

Beautiful cabin near Blacl Mountain

We stayed in this cabin for a few Day during a trip to drop off a kid at summer camp. So relaxing and beautiful here, what a wonderful stream and great layout. Will definitely visit the site again.

Great Secluded Cabin

We rented this place to be away from everyone and couldn’t have picked a better location! The creek running next to the Cabin had you hearing running water while in the hot tub or enjoying a cup of coffee on the deck. The rooms were exactly what we needed and the wood stove kept the house warm and smelling like a fire the whole weekend. Also, We ran into an issue with the hot tub and Mike (owner) was there within minutes to fix the issue. Wifi worked great, satellite TV worked fine with no issues. Can’t thank Mike enough for letting us book. Great getaway for 2-5 people!

BRAMY’s October getaway

Lovely, well maintained property. With no children to entertain, only our pups, and some pretty great weather, we were able to enjoy the property and the trails and the town. Fire pit, hot tub, grill, all got put to good use. House had everything we needed and being able to bring the dogs was a huge bonus.

Creekside weekend getaway

We enjoyed "unplugging" for a weekend at Creekside. The house was stocked with everything you need, and the owner was very responsive to questions. The house setting on the creek was amazing, the pictures do not do it justice. We would love to stay again.
