This house was exactly what we were looking for! The place was clean, comfortable, and had everything we needed for a relaxing vacation.
The location was perfect for exploring the surrounding area and enjoying waterfalls and scenic views.
It is a really nice house, well maintained. The location is super quiet, we found some activities nearby and more options at about 40 min drive.the place is equipped with everithing you need to stay at home away from your home.
Very comfortable and well stocked home. Did not want anything. Beautiful views and excellent WiFi.

Lovely home with amazing amenities
We really enjoyed our stay at the Rockhouse "Peaceful Spruce Pine Cabin w/ Fire Pit." The house was really nice and the amenities were perfect! Even more than we expected. The only issue that came up with the house was the internet connection was spotty.

Well appointed, quiet, comfortable mountain stay.
The place was super clean and very well appointed. All of our kitchen needs were there plus a lot more. There were even headlamps for checking out the outside in the dark. The firepit in the parking area was adequate but don't expect to have a HUGE bonfire there. The WIFI worked great and GoogeTV is available on a big TV for those that want it. In the summer, the chairs outside would be a very nice place to sit. Highly recommend this place.

Quite, Cozy and Well Furnished
We had a fantastic stay at this cabin! We were impressed by the cleanliness and comfort of the house. It was evident that the hosts take great care in maintaining the property. The cabin was also well-stocked with everything we needed for a cozy retreat.Although we didn't bring our dogs along on this trip, we couldn't help but notice how pet-friendly the cabin was. It would have been the perfect place for them to join us and feel right at home. The location of the cabin is ideal for exploring the beauty of the Blue Ridge Parkway and the charming surrounding communities. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be returning for another stay in the future. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway in the heart of nature.

Gorgeous house, very helpful!
The host was super responsive and very helpful. I booked with short notice and in my haste messed up my dates. They were very helpful, responded quickly and very flexible with helping with the corrections. The house itself is beautiful and very comfortable and clean. We love cooking and often find rental kitchens are lacking, but not here! For one, the gas range was so appreciated, but the kitchen was also well stocked with great pots and seasonings that we really enjoyed trying. And kitchen knives that actually cut! My husband travels with his knife bag, but didn't even need to bring it in! We loved our stay and so did our pups! Thanks for a great couple days! Looking forward to another visit.

Lovely cabin with lots of special touches
This very clean and cozy cabin has been thoughtfully stocked with lots of amenities to make sure you are comfortable during your stay. The beds were comfy and lots of blankets were available throughout the cabin. If you like to cook, you will be delighted at how many spices are available for your use in the well-stocked kitchen. They have even provided a grocery loyalty card so you can take advantage of any sales at the store. If you unfortunately need to work remotely, there is a desk and monitor available for your use in the primary bedroom. I loved the thoughtful touches like having a bottle opener mounted on the front porch for your convenience while you sip and stare at the mountains. Traveling with your pup? You will find a dog bed, bowls, lead and even some treats. They’ve even provided some head lamps for evening hiking & fire pit ease. The luggage rack in the bedrooms was also appreciated, as were the camping chairs. Can’t wait to return!
We found the house to be extremely clean, even the outdoor areas. The house is really excellent with a great kitchen, bathrooms and porch. Meals on the porch were a highlight. Having a good outdoor area (yard) is a necessity for our dog. She loved being on the porch with us and 'taking' her meals there too! The Super Walmart is very convenient. Restaurants vary but the Mexican restaurant in the Walmart parking lot was very good as was the Tropical Grill in Spruce Pine. City Diner (also Spruce Pines) is a good place and Pelican's Snowballs (water ice and ice cream) on HWY 226 is a fun place. Don't miss the Switzerland Cafe in Little Switzerland. Bring cash if you want to avoid the credit card surcharge most places have. (don't know but debit card may work) There are great waterfalls not far from the house but some are in areas currently closed. We went to Toms Creed Falls (25 minutes away). It's a beautiful high falls accessed by a short, easy trail off the road. Also, Roaring Fork Falls, a tall falls with a small wading pool at the bottom. It's an easy 3/4 mile trail in from a small parking area. And, Linville Falls, an absolutely beautiful falls. Currently, there are distant views from the trail but there's a fantastic viewing area at the end of the trail. Upper and lower falls trails are closed as is the visitor's center but there's plenty of parking at the trail head.
