We had a wonderful stay at the beautiful Manor House! It was spotlessly clean, very well equipped, and incredibly spacious. Even with 7 adults, 2 toddlers, an infant and 2 dogs—and several rainy days—we never felt crowded. There was plenty of room for everyone to spread out, and the setup was great for young children. The owner was also very responsive and helpful throughout our stay. We absolutely loved it and would highly recommend it!

Special Blue Ridge getaway

We came to visit our family local to Surry and Allegheny county. Could not have enjoyed the stay more. The hosts are exceptional and the property is better than pictured. We will be back - several times.

Perfect mountain retreat

We attended a wedding in the area and was able to stay at this beautiful home. I wish we could have spent even more time enjoying the space and property. Very peaceful and quiet space. We also loved the game room. Great communication with the host as well. Highly recommend if staying in the area.

Wonderful home in a great location

We recently visited your home and were absolutely astonished by the level of detail shared and the extras provided. There was something for everyone at the house. The kids all enjoyed the game room, the bath tub was like a spa visit for us, the extras for the dogs were amazing. We brought our own dog bed but there were three others located on various floors for him to enjoy. The house is located close to Stone Mountain for those who love to hike. We are already planning our next visit for the fall.

Perfect Vacation

We loved the location, the property, the house. Everything was perfect. Check in was easy and the hosts really went above and beyond. It was my mothers 60th birthday and they left cookies and a card for her on arrival. We will definitely plan on coming back.

Saddle View Farm

We had such a great experience! The house was perfect...plenty of room for us all. John & Tara were excellent hosts and everything you could need was there from games, to kitchen "gadgets", to firepit blankets...they thought of everything! Loved it!

We just completed a wonderful stay at The Manor House. The house was everything as described and more. Our party was a family of 8 - 4 adults and 4 children. The design of the house gave us plenty of room to spread out. We also had all the room needed for our 2 dogs- with many amenities provided for their stay as well! The house is beautifully decorated and very comfortable. The home is well stocked with many extras provided to get your stay started right away. The property is fantastic and we enjoyed all aspects of it. Children and dogs chased each other outside and enjoyed exploring down the many trails on the property. We had s’mores around the fire pit and searched the skies at night from the huge deck. We made many beautiful memories and will be back for another stay soon!

Family Retreat

The Wow factor is immediate as you enter the property. Beautiful cabin surrounded by rolling farmland. Plenty of space for long walks and romps with the pups! Four generations of family enjoyed a long weekend. Something for everyone! Our last afternoon was spent around the fire pit with the kids making S'mores. Family memories that will last a lifetime.

Great get-away

I've stayed at a plethora of VRBO properties, but the Manor House at Saddle View Farms tops them all. The setting is quiet, restful and beautiful. The house is gorgeous with plenty of entertainment options. My favorite was to simply read my book by the fire. John's communication regarding the area was prompt, accurate, and helpful. Book it; you won't regret it.

Bike Trip Weekend.

House and property were EPIC and perfect for our family trip! We had two families and a dog that all stayed comfortably in the house. Property was beautiful, rolling hills and fields that the children loved to explore and run amok. The owners were very easy to talk to and seemed to really care that we had a good time. We only got to spend a weekend, so we are looking forward to booking again when we have more time to spend.

Premium Stay

From booking the rental until the moment we checked out, it truly was a supreme pleasure staying at this home. It was very clean and had everything we needed with lots of extras. John was so helpful and very accommodating. It was a great location as it wasn't too far from different activities we planned to do while visiting the area. I cannot say enough great things! It was plenty of room for our youth group as we come to the area to canoe/kayak every Labor Day. We will plan to stay here again.

Ideal Place for a Getaway or a Special Occasion

The property was beautiful! The hosts graciously provided everything we would possibly need. The condition was immaculate. We really can't find enough adjectives to express what an exceptional VRBO this is. We went to celebrate a family members birthday. All ages were in attendance. We enjoyed meals around the large table, sitting around the firepit, hiking the lush, green hills to view the scenery, and photograph the beautiful sunsets. You will definitely want to visit this manor home to experience everything yourself! We will definitely go again.

Manor with a view

Saddle View is everything described in the listing and much more. The Manor is very well appointed, the owners have thought of everything needed to make a stay at the Manor enjoyable and memorable. There are so many amenities, we couldn't work everything in this trip but hope to return and at least relax in the huge tub in the master and enjoy a calm evening on the back porch. The host are very responsive to text and gave lots of information in regards to the surrounding sights not only in the area but on the property as well. A fantastic stay that must be experienced to fully appreciate the Saddle View Manor.

Family Friendly and Fun

The house and grounds are beautiful! The house has all you could ever want or need and more. The fully stocked and organized kitchen made cooking for my family fun and easy. Also, the two living areas gave sports lovers and movie watchers their own private space. While the game room entertained both adults and children. This was definitely the nicest VRBO we have ever visited and we plan to book again next year for our daughter’s wedding at The Shiloh in Lowgap. Only 18 minutes away!

Mountain Dream Getaway

Our stay at the Manor House of Saddle View Farms was incredible. The views were amazing and it was so peaceful. The house was so comfortable for our family of 11 and was perfect for our family reunion. The game room was a hit for young and old. John and Tara were very attentive hosts and so easy to work with. The house was impeccably clean and better stocked than any I’ve ever rented before. I highly recommend the Manor House, you won’t be disappointed. I didn’t want to leave. We spent many hours around the fire pit, telling stories and making s’mores. Thanks for making this a memorable vacation and we look forward to returning next year, if not before. Saddle View Farms is Exceptional and Extraordinary

Everything was exceptional from the pre-checkin to the check out. We absolutely loved the farm with paths cut around the entire 49 acres. The online pictures of the home don't do it justice. It is absolutely beautiful. Our family used the incredible kitchen and huge beautiful dining room every night. The bar set up was incredible and we had glasses for any drink imaginable. John and Tara anticipate every possible need that may come up. extra gas canisters for the grill, all of the dining needs, the TVs the blue tooth speakers, the TVs, the security, the back porch, the washer and Dryer, the telescope. We were wanting for nothing. There are too many extras to include, but the Game room was a blast, the sunsets were beautiful and the tremendous wildlife on the property included Dee with Fawns, Turkeys with fuzzy baby poults, Hawks and song birds. Truly the nicest rental that we have ever stayed in (and we have stayed in some nice places). Our family will be back! Thanks for everything!
