Spectacular, breathtaking views of Pilot Mountain, Winston Salem, Mount Airy, Hanging Rock, and Sauratown Mountain. The main floor has a living room with a panorama view, fireplace, fully stocked kitchen, and a powder bathroom. The master bedroom and bath are located on the primary floor and have french doors that lead to the back deck. The primary floor also includes the laundry room, dining room, and a small desk. The downstairs includes three additional bedrooms and two bathrooms. There is a large downstairs living room with a fireplace that has french doors to access the downstairs deck. Also located downstairs is a wet bar that includes a lounge area with a day bed. This property focuses on the beautiful view which can be found throughout the entire house.

This is our third time staying here for our family holiday break, and it was great as always! The view is incredible, and it was a cozy spot for our family which is spread across three states to meet together and celebrate while also having our own space. Looking forward to staying here again!

Best Rental Around!

Amazing house and much cleaner, newer and nicer than the others we’ve rented in the area when visiting family. This was overkill for me as a solo traveler but I couldn’t pass up the view!

Wow! What a view!

We were in Galax for a family reunion and wanted a Mountain View and boy did we get it!! The house was better than expected. One of the best kitchens we’ve ever stayed in, plenty of bedding and towels, and wine to welcome us! We would definitely stay here again.

2022 Mountain Golf Trip

Great Place for Family Holiday Stay

My family has rented this place twice now for our holiday reunion and it has been perfect. A little out of the way, but the space and view is worth it. We were able to spread out to our own rooms, but come together for dinner and games. We had our Christmas morning in front of the gorgeous view. We cooked our holiday dinner here and enjoyed our time as a family. Looking forward to renting this place again in the future.

Spectacular!

Friends weekend at the house. Beautiful clean home with quality furnishings. Crazy weather weekend, ranging from panoramic views to no visibility due to ice and fog! But didn’t matter, we loved this place and hope to return!

Bigger than you’d think!

My family gathered here for Thanksgiving week, and fully expected the amazing views (which were even more amazing at sunrise!) but did not expect such spacious indoor areas. All the rooms / bathrooms / closets / kitchen are far larger than they seem from photos. We had a toddler and a 5yo running around, toys everywhere, and did not feel crowded at all. This was a great place for our holiday trip.

The home is beautiful with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere—perfect for a family gathering. However, there were a few issues that impacted our stay. Some amenities weren’t working, including the Keurig, one of the stove burners, and the master bathroom shower lights. The kitchen could have been cleaner—there was cleaner left in the oven, a film on the counters, and some dirty dishes in the cabinets. We also noticed a lack of basic cooking utensils and a wine opener. The pilot light on the gas fireplace was out, but we were able to relight it using the manual (and turned it off before leaving). Overall, the home was mostly clean and comfortable, but a bit more attention to maintenance and kitchen cleanliness would make a big difference.

Hidden gem

This was the best rental we have had. The view was spectacular, the house was clean and beautiful. It felt like we were coming home at the end of each day. The kitchen was stocked with any kind of pot, pan, or utensil you could need. My only suggestion would be a sign at the top of the driveway pointing which way to go. We all took the wrong turn and had to turn around and go the other way. Toddlers would need constant supervision while outside.

Beautiful location

Disappointed with response from owner about the Direct TV service. We were celebrating sister’s 75th Birthday who is a BIG football fan and the Direct TV service was not available. You website list that it is provided. These services should be checked before you offer this property to another guest.
