About this property
Spacious Oasis on Monument | Incredible Backyard
Unique to the neighborhood, this full-of-CHARACTER home was put together for comfort, quiet, and fun. Experience all Richmond has to offer in this centrally located bright and spacious home.
Amenities are plentiful year around. It will be hard to find a property in this area that boasts a fire pit, large deck, salt water pool, a gas fireplace, open floor plan, fully stocked very spacious kitchen, outdoor turf, solar lights galore and space after space for people to gather.
It has something for every season. Fall/winter boasts a cozy home with a gas fireplace, an outdoor fire pit, board games, pool table, dart board and comfortable places to lounge all over the house.
On days when you're craving city life, visit downtown or the Fan district to explore museums, restaurants, the James River and more!
This 3 BR, 3 full bath home (with an office and workout room) is perfect for groups of all sizes. A day bed with a trundle makes it doable to sleep 8...but 6 is the more comfortable spacious way to go.
Open floor plan! You'll still be shocked to walk into the space. It is BIG, has TONS of character and the backyard does not look like it belongs in Richmond, Virginia.
The upstairs is perfectly laid out for comfort. The master suite could be a stay in and of itself with a private bathroom complete with a shower and jacuzzi and the two guest rooms are spacious, equipped with mounted TVs and exude a feeling of cleanliness and zen.
Guest access the entire house! There are owners closets for linens and general cleaning, but a clothes rack is provided in the master and both guest rooms have large closets if needed!
The garage is locked and off limits to guests.
Access to the property is easy. Your code to get in the front door is the last four digits of your phone number, easy to remember :-)
The fireplace is gas. It is available for use for 15 minutes at a time (heats the room QUICKLY) in the months of November, December, January and February.
The pool is open from late April thru Halloween!

About the host
Hosted by Anna Prillaman

I was born and raised in Richmond Virginia. I'm an Athletic Director who accidentally stumbled upon the world of short term rentals, in order to make a personal situation work, and have fallen in love with the process, automation, hospitality and relationship building parts of the business.
I value treating all walks of life with respect. I think that quality time with those who you align with and love you unconditionally is the best way to navigate life.
I am meticulous about any space I occupy and am always considering how others would feel in it. Property/short term management combines blue and white collar activity, and for me, that combination clicks.
Every guests story is intriguing to me, but I feel like I've also got a good feel of when a guest wants nothing more than for you to prepare the space and be available if issues arise, so as far as engagement is concerned..I can easily go either way.
Book my property, you won't be disappointed with the care that goes into the home before the stay, into you and your family and friends during the stay, and to the listening ear I provide after the stay...in case I can improve and/or we can build a trust where you come again.

Why they chose this property
Monument Avenue is a historic road in Richmond VA. Having that address turns people's heads and is a conversation starter. Although my house is in the county, not the city it still feels very classic Richmond, and I like that.
I chose the home due to the character it presented upon my first walk thru. You will not find an open floor plan, a pool and the backyard space like this home has anywhere in this neighborhood. It is INCREDIBLY unique to the area.
Add the convenience of I-64 being a mile away and I-95 being 3 miles away...you literally can get anywhere quickly.
The tree cover, fence and surrounding greenery provides an oasis unlike anything you can find in Richmond's west end.
Often times friends, contractors or anyone who hasn't seen the property walk in and their face turns into shock..."wait, I did not think THIS was what I would walk into".
Long story short, I've been proud of the property since the second I closed on it.

What makes this property unique
open floor plan, wooden beams downstairs, meticulous layout inside and out, salt water pool, fire pit, turf, outdoor bar
Name another property in the area that has ALL THAT? You can't.
