Stag Ridge - A Luxury Cabin in Highlands, NC

Welcome to “Stag Ridge” located in the upscale mountain town of Highlands, NC where refined luxury meets the beautiful serenity of the outdoors. This 4 BR “Ralph Lauren” style cabin is conveniently located 2.4 miles from Main Street and tucked away right behind one of the most popular waterfall and hiking trails of Glen Falls.

Complete with the finest finishes, furniture and linens, you won’t be disappointed. While many love to venture to our local fine dining establishments, you have a chef’s kitchen complete with a La Cornue stove and Viking appliances. Main floor features 3 BR/2BA with kitchen, dining and living room. Downstairs features another bedroom with twin beds and an adjoining bath, living room with 65” TV, and laundry room.

Enjoy mornings and evenings on the upper deck. Out front is a fire pit for your enjoyment as well.

Right near Stag Ridge is Glen Falls:

Glen Falls features a series of beautiful cascades. There are three major falls and several smaller rushes, all of which you can access from the trail. Pay attention to which turn on the trail you make as there are several off-shoots from the main trail. From top to bottom, the trail is one mile long and descends 700 feet. The hike down is easy since you are descending but coming back up is steep.

Great long weekend adventure!

My family and I came to Highlands from Chicago for the long weekend. Stag Ridge was truly amazing. The photos are right on. The home is stunningly beautiful and the owner thought of absolutely everything. I think we were one of the first people to rent it so everything was brand new. We had one issue figuring out the wifi and the owner responfed to us within minutes to help us figure it out. We took some beautiful hikes, went to great restaurants and my two teenagers loved making smores at the firepit. It really was such a nice getaway. Look forward to returning someday!

Outstanding

Wonderful, well appointed and spacious home! Quiet neighborhood. Excellent location only requiring about a five minute ride to downtown Highlands. Very easy access to Glenn Falls hike (our family walked from the house). We even saw a large black bear right outside the house while eating dinner one evening! Kim was awesome and very responsive to every need or request! Would definitely stay again!
