Oceanfront Home with 2 Pools and Spectacular Views!

Welcome to paradise! Casa de Tortugas is perfectly located on the Caribbean side of the island, less than 5 minutes to everywhere by golf cart, scooter, or bus and in walking distance to North beach, many restaurants, stores, attractions, the island's only brewery and much more.

Walk through the front door and have your breath taken away by the white sandy beach, turquoise rolling waters, and stunning sunrises. Watch the sea turtles come right on the beach to lay their eggs and wave to the dolphins as they swim by the house.

This large 3 bedroom home has an en-suite bath in each of the large bedrooms. The main floor offers an open concept, beautifully remodeled spacious kitchen and living area for the perfect adventure. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to cook a great meal or have an island chef come to the home to prepare an authentic special meal for you. The upstairs has the 3rd bedroom with an en-suite, spacious living area with an additional sofa bed and a kitchenette. Sit on your oceanside balcony for the perfect weather, white-sand beaches, and brilliant blue waters of the Caribbean.

Each room has a separate air conditioner with their own temperature control.

Walk out of the doors and onto a beautiful patio with spectacular views of the ocean. Choose between 2 pools. Enjoy the solar heated oceanside pool or the upper street-side dipping pool. Take in the stunning Caribbean view while sitting in the pool and soaking up the sun or just lounge under the shaded palapa.

This is the perfect home to enjoy island life!

For the security of our guests and the safety of our home, we have external security cameras. One located on the street lamp for the front gate and one on the rooftop showing the back gate to the stairs leading to the beach. These cameras do not record audio and are for security purposes only.

This location is perfect on the island, centrally located with easy access to North Beach and the South side. The house is well maintained and clean. Watching for sea turtles was an added bonus, we didn't get to see any but we could see where the babies had hatched and tracks going into the water. Beautiful views of the Caribbean. We will definitely stay here again.

Lovely beach house with amazing views! Mid-island location, close to everything. Tracy was very helpful with questions prior to arrival. The concierge was also amazing, helping us with recommendations on the island and taxis throughout the week. Everything we needed was onsite and the house was very clean. Beach into the surf is rocky, but just bring water shoes. We were able to watch sea turtles come onshore to nest a few mornings right in front of the house...absolutely amazing! The pool is much bigger than it looks in the photos. We loved our stay and would return again.

Property was exactly as advertised and then some! Everything was perfect. Chema, our concierge was very helpful and organized a golf cart to be on sight for us when we arrived and also couples massages. Highly recommend this property!!!

The property was sooo beautiful and exactly as shown in the pictures. It was in a great location as it’s not in the super busy north area, but only a few minute golf cart ride to the best beaches! Check in was extremely smooth and they were very accommodating. We absolutely loved the house and would recommend staying here!

Tracy was fabulous to work with, and her team. Chemo, checked us in and was always on call for anything needed, order food, hail a cab, anything. This place is absolutely beautiful and was ideal for 3 couples, with our own private beach and pool. I would stay here again, and again, and again!!!

A perfect location for our family vacation!

We absolutely LOVED our stay at Casa de Tortugas! The house overall was perfect! The view from the pool was amazing and we loved taking night swims on the roof top pool after dinner! The location was perfectly center to Playa Norte and the south side of the island. The house was stocked with everything we needed and having unlimited purified water was very convenient. This was our 2 little one’s first time to Isla and we can’t wait to bring them back!

Awesome home on Isla!

We had a great stay at this home. It was all as advertised, the home was very clean, the pool was great, the location was very good in my opinion (close enough to town, but also not surrounded by people). The home is just perfect for 2-3 couples. There are three bedrooms, one of which is upstairs in a separate living area with it's own privacy and each with a very nice bathroom attached. The house has everything you could want. Would definitely stay here again.

The house far exceeded our expectations. Check in with the concierge was extremely easy and he helped us out with recommendations and resources on the island. The house itself was beautiful and very clean. It was better than any of the pictures could have portrayed. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this rental, it made our vacation that much better.

Awesome place to stay!!

We had an awesome time at this house. Chame checked us in and went above and beyond to get us food delivered our first night there. He was the best!!! The house was extremely clean and had everything you need. One thing we didnt really realize was that the 3rd bedroom you had to walk outside and up a flight of stairs to get to , but that wasnt a big deal to us.

great time with family

The location is wonderful. The house is great. The upstairs bedroom's access is on the front exterior of the home. We felt secure and safe. You can snorkel out to the reef if the wind is not blowing hard. Look for others doing it, you should be a strong swimmer. Isla brewing had great Birra tacos and the Al Pastor at MAFER was fantastic, they are both with in walking distance.

Amazing Property

The house is amazing. Everything looked new and was very clean when we got there. The management company was very quick to respond and easy to get ahold of. I'd also like to thank the amazing maintenance team. We locked our safe accidently and was quick in response to everything we asked. The view out the back window was amazing and you can cool off in the pool. with the 2 different pools you can stay out of the sun or in the sun due to the different locations which was nice. I'd highly recommend this if you have a family or a group of friends so everyone gets their own room!!

Enjoyed our stay!

We stayed at Casa de Tortugas with another couple. Loved the location close to town and the beautiful view from the back pool. We prefer this side of the island because we love to see and hear the waves. My husband and I stayed upstairs which was a separate living area with a back deck that we utilized every morning for coffee and evening for cocktails. Our friends stayed in the master bedroom in the main house. Both rooms had ocean views. This was our 4th visit to Isla. Having a golf cart is a must on this wonderful little island. A little too cool to use the pool (temps were in the mid 70's) but we still spent plenty of time outside and riding around the island.

View, pool, and great concierge

The house is spacious, comfortable, and pleasantly decorated. We spent most of the time at the house outside near the pool. There's an area that is shaded much of the time, which was helpful since it was quite hot while we were there. The pool is small and not intended for real swimming, but is delightful for just bobbing around and enjoying the gorgeous view and the perfect temperature of the water. We didn't use the small pool on the upstairs deck because the water was too hot during the very hot weather, but the upstairs decks, front and back, are nicely furnished and inviting. The concierge, Chema, was extremely helpful. He arranged transportation to and from the airport in Cancun, hooked us up with a private sunset boat ride, arranged a private chef to come to the house to prepare delicious dinners for us, arranged our cart rental, and responded to any questions almost instantaneously. Having his help improved our experience so much! I would happily recommend this house to anyone looking for a private rental on Isla Mujeres. One note - we were there during the off season so there were often no tenants in the houses adjacent to this house (the houses are all very close together) so it was nice and quiet for us. I image in would be different during the busy season.

A beautiful stay

The house is right on the beach and the crashing waves beautifully drown out any traffic noise, so you magically forget about the world behind you (the windows are also soundproof btw). Chema, who checked us in, was super helpful and quick to respond to any queries we had during our trip. There was a welcome basket with lots of goodies, which was a really nice touch and much appreciated and there were 4 gigantic fresh water bottles for the water fountains (one on each floor). The AC, water pressure and hot water are fantastic (not a given, apparently, which is why I mention these). The house is very clean and actually much bigger than the photos show. The mattresses are super comfortable. The towels are fluffy and pristine. The house is split in two. A 2 bedroom apartment downstairs (1 room is on street side, quite dark, good for kids) and a 1 bedroom apartment upstairs (with mini pool and shady terrace). The location is perfect as it is away from all the touristy craziness of Playa del Norte but just a 5 minute golf cart away from there and from the grocery store (Chedraoui) AND the best food (Café Mango). I recommend getting a golf cart bc it’s fun but there are also taxis everywhere. We decided on Isla Mujeres for practical reasons and honestly had low expectations because of the touristy vibe (which isn’t ours) but Casa De Tortugas we would be MORE than happy to return to! It was a complete game changer. Thank you SO much! We’ll be back!!!
