Casa Isla - Oceanfront, Tranquility, Architectural Space

Casa Isla is the ultimate luxury retreat. The house is on the tip of Isla Mujeres on a cliff overlooking the turquoise waters of the Bay of Cancun. Unobstructed ocean views from every room are breathtaking.

The house is a masterpiece of shape, color, light and air. The main space is an open living room, dining room and kitchen which opens onto an outdoor dining room, living room and saltwater pool with terrace, hot tub, and palapita, all overlooking the ocean. Eighteen feet of glass panels in the living room retract into the wall so the house becomes completely open to the breezes and waves. Accommodations for six include three deluxe suites, each with air conditioning and en suite bathroom with walk in stone shower. All bedrooms and bathrooms have ocean views and are completely private. The infinity pool has a shallow shelf for lounge chairs and a hot tub for 10 people. A thatched palapita at the pool is great for enjoying cocktails at ocean's edge.

Casa Isla is a luxury oceanfront three bedroom, three and a half bath home beautifully furnished with a high level of quality and finishes. The master suite has an indoor tropical garden and a terrace which overlooks the pool, the cliff and the bay. There are two bedrooms on the second floor, each of which has its own bathroom, two queen beds and fabulous views. The house was completed in December, 2008

The climate is perfect for outdoor living and the house has over 1,500 square feet of outdoor living space which overlooks the ocean, including living room, dining room, pool terrace with palapa, and outdoor roof deck with 270 degrees ocean views. Relax and let the sound of the ocean and the Caribbean breezes soothe your soul.

Restaurants and a beach with swimming and snorkeling are a five minute walk.

Please Note: 1) there are three Casa Isla kitties who live outside. All are healthy, sterilized, vaccinated, and treated for fleas. We ask guests to feed them while they stay (food is provided). 2) there is a 22% VAT tax on the base rate which will be collected separately .

We loved our time at Casa Isla and wish we could have stayed longer. The house is lovely, the pool and hot tub were so nice, and there was plenty of space to hang out as a group. We appreciated that the house was built so we could enjoy the pool without the wind coming from the other side of the island. By being located on the southern point of the island, it is a bit of a golf cart ride to get into the city, but so worth it. The owner and property manager were so helpful before and during the trip with any questions or needs that came up.

Best Island House!!

We stayed at this house with our family which included teenaged boys and girls. It was perfect! It is so spacious with many areas to rest and relax. The pool was perfect and the views are to die for! Pictures do not do this property justice- it was absolutely stunning.

Actually sunrise as well from the rooftop terrace, and spectacular sunsets from the back infinity pool, or cocktails in gazebo. The view features Cancun in the distance over clear turquoise sea. Dining or playing cards under the stars… Kitchen is great with option to have groceries stocked ahead. 3 generous bedrooms ea with own bath is perfect for 3 adult couples. Walkable coffee and lunch spots. Southernmost point of island does not dissapoint!

Best view on island

The best house on Isla. Staff is great and the house is beautiful. I've rented this house 4 times and each time is better. Views are spectacular. I find myself not ever even wanting to leave the home or Punts Sur. So many things to do on the south end of the island now it's not even a necessity to go anywhere else. Master bedroom is fantastic. Do yourself a favor and book this house. It doesn't disappoint.

The Perfect Spot

Our family has stayed at this house twice now. Everything about it is absolutely perfect. Both the owner and the property manager have been extremely hospitable. We had a minor issue with the hot tub this last stay, but within minutes of notifying the property manager, she had someone there getting it taken care of. We love the location of this house - close enough to hit the favorite eating spots, but far enough to be quiet and away from a ton of traffic. And the view is absolutely stunning.

Amazing location and views that can't be beat!

First off, the photos don't do justice to this home. We had 3 couples and I'll say there is no reason to fight over which room you get. Each room is very large with large bathrooms and amazing views. The layout is very comfortable with a large indoor living area and a huge oceanfront patio/dining/pool area. Owner/property manager were both super easy to work with and had great communications. We had golf carts delivered for our use during the stay and arranged for massages on the patio. Great location on the island close to lots of restaurants/bars/beach clubs.

Beautiful View

This house was beautiful. It is on the south end of the island so away from all the hustle and bustle which we really enjoyed. We were charged $30 each way to travel by taxi when returning our golf cart so a cart is needed your whole stay- which we loved anyway having it to go everywhere. Beautiful house and beautiful view. Blender works well and we used it MANY days to make pina coladas and enjoyed them at the pool. The fresh guacomole and salsa at arrival was soooo good and much appreciated after a long travel day. Communication with host was very good.

Best House on Island

This is the third time I have stayed in this home. And let me just say it's always the best.. House keeping is wonderful. The view is unbeatable, the beds are fantastic, and the check in is easy. Not to mention that the air conditioners are fantastic even in the hottest time of the year. This house is on the South end of the island which used to be far away from everything but now they're so many great restaurants and little places that you don't even need to go to the North end. If you're looking at this house, don't think twice about booking it just do it. It's close to many things but yet very peaceful on that end. You won't find a better view, trust me.

All about the view!

My family and I stayed at Casa Isla for a week and thought that even though the online pictures are spectacular, the home and the view is even better in person. The location is great, we walked the short distance to Punta Sur and explored the nature trails. From the pool, we watched sharks and a pod of dolphins hunting. We really appreciated the water cooler and how the fridge's water and ice used bottled water. The beds were very comfortable. Thank you to Maria who provided dinner for us one night and who kept the house spotless. And thank you to Stacy who answered our questions immediately. We will definitely return.

What a fantastic house for our family of six.

From the time we arrived and had our golf cart waiting there for us and Stacy was there to show us everything about the house we felt like we were staying in our own home. The sunset views are simply spectacular as well as all of the outdoor seating areas. The only drawback which really never affected us was that so many people come to the very end of the island that golf carts often are lined up on both sides of the street during the day but you never see them as the pool it’s on the other side. Since it is the third house from the southern most point of the island lots of people come and go. You only see all the people if you go out the front door to go somewhere else. I would highly recommend this property to any one looking for a great home on Isla Mujeres!

The Oasis We Needed

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was everything advertised and more. We brought our adult children and we all had plenty of privacy in the house. I loved waking up every morning to the beautiful view. I would take a book out by the pool in the mornings to enjoy the serenity. We also enjoyed sitting out by the pool at night to look at the stars and were also pleasantly surprised to see fireworks over Cancun. We enjoyed the tranquility of the house and pool, while being to head into town for activities. For us, it was the perfect location. The house was clean, the housekeepers friendly and the cats were entertaining. We arrived much later than expected and the house manager was there to greet us with guacamole, salsa and chips, which was much appreciated. We hated to leave and would definitely stay again in a heartbeat.

Absolutely fantastic

I have stayed at this property before and just as I said before it is the best one on the island. The house is fantastic. The master suite is bar none. It's the best outside layout that I have seen and I have been to Isla 32 times. The cleaning staff and the property manager is absolutely as nice as they can be. This house does not disappoint. The house is so well built you can't hear a thing in the individual rooms coming from other areas. If you're looking for privacy this is the place. Also when renting this house you will find out that you don't need to go and do a bunch of stuff be because you will want to just stay there in the Mexicans Zen. I am looking forward to another return.

Fabulous Stay at Casa Isla!

We stayed at Casa Isla this Spring with our two young children (4.5 and almost 2) and we had an AMAZING time! Anyone with children knows that vacations aren't really vacations when you have them in tow, but this home made our trip to Isla Mujeres fantastic. The home is much larger than you'd imagine based on the photos, and the layout was perfect (kids on the top floor with parents in the main suite). The bedrooms and bathrooms were huge with ample space. I had no concerns parking the kids upstairs. It was great because as one napped, the rest of us could enjoy the huge open kitchen/living room, or go out to swim in the pool knowing all was safe inside. The pool was wonderful - large, with a beautiful view of the ocean below and Cancun in the distance. The shallow shelf was an excellent spot for both kids to play safely. Also, there's a massive outdoor space complete with couches, dining table, etc. for easy outdoor living. The location of the home is excellent. I was worried we'd be too far/remote but that wasn't the case at all. Being on the southern point felt super safe and there were plenty of restaurants/bars within a short walk or short golf cart ride. Getting to Playa Norte only took about 20 min on the golf cart, which frankly the whole family enjoyed. While there's no beach at the home, there are many beach "clubs" nearby that charge a nominal fee and/or require a food & beverage minimum for access. To be honest, we really just loved hanging out by the pool at the house. Kit and her team were fabulous - incredibly communicative and helped to arrange everything we could have needed from a golf cart, to groceries, to departure Covid tests. The home was spotless and the housekeeper was so friendly and wonderful - such a gem. Kit recommended DC Explorer Isla Mujeres for golf cart rentals and transportation to the island. We did the private fast pass both ways (pick-up from airport, private ferry to the island) and it was well worth it! Lastly, we were a huge fan of the kitties living on the property. Our kids were so excited to help feed them and loved watching for them each day. I can't recommend this home enough. It would be great for adults and families alike. I hope we can return again in the future!

Wow!

This place was truly remarkable. Everything it shows it to be and sooo much more. The pictures online honestly do not do it justice. Punta Sur walking distance, sunrise in the front of the home in the mornings and the sunset in the back. A fabulous maid who is a total sweetheart and does a wonderful job. Just an all around beautiful home that has all the amenities you could ever need. You don't even have to leave if you don't want to. Kit was wonderful to work with and gave great referrals for a golf cart, shuttle service and was easily reachable if needed. Personal paradise

The house was every bit as amazing as it looks in the photos! The owner was so kind, accommodating and helpful; I had to cancel and move my dates and she helped me with the whole process and even arranged for a golf cart to be waiting at the house for us when we arrived. The resident kitties are so sweet and fun to have around 💕 I looked forward to giving them breakfast and dinner each day. The location is perfect, quiet and peaceful with incredible views from every room. The location, the home, the whole experience was perfect and I can't wait to go back!

When my family began inquiring what to do for my 50th birthday, my mother's first (and obvious) recommendation was to host a get-together at Casa Isla. Once again, everyone loved socializing and relaxing in the space -- and they especially loved their time spent poolside. This said, you need not have a special occasion to stay at Casa Isla and staying at Casa Isla is a naturally special occasion all on its own! Stay and REALLY enjoy!

A stunning house with gorgeous views. House staff were extremely attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
