Fabulous All-Season Lakehouse, 600' Lakefront, Lake Eden Vermont

Enjoy one of the finest lakefront properties on one of the cleanest, most pristine lakes in Vermont. Soak in both sunrises and sunsets as you relax at your vacation home located on a peninsula surrounded by water on 3 sides. Swim off the large platform dock, fish for bass or trout from the dock or canoe provided. Two kayaks are also available.

Enjoy a campfire in our firepit by the lake, or in the fieldstone fireplace indoors on a chilly evening. (firewood provided).

Plan and prepare meals knowing that you'll have all the tools in our well-stocked kitchen.

Originally a charming cabin built in the 1930s, it has been renovated and expanded, providing modern convenience while preserving that rustic feel. Gourmet kitchen, breakfast nook, fieldstone fireplace, charming screened-in porch, barbecue, laundry, wireless internet.

Great winter rental as well as summer - 25 miles or less to Stowe , Jay Peak , Smugglers Notch and Craftsbury XC ski areas. Jay Peak Waterpark and Lamoille Valley Rail Trail are also attractions.

Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and remove leftover food and drinks
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys

If kayaks were used, please drain the water from them and return to the boat house.
Please neatly bag trash and put in receptical in basement. Please close windows, lock doors and replace key in the lockbox.
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Dogs must be kept under control and on our property and not allowed to wander to neighbors' property.

This was our third summer back to this property. You could not ask for a more beautiful location. The perfect place to disconnect, enjoy swimming and paddleboarding on the lake, catch frogs with our kids, BBQ, and stargaze. We love this house!!

This is such a beautiful spot to come and decompress! You can hike, swim, fish, kayak, read lakeside and enjoy a bonfire at night. We have been to this Lake Eden home multiple times and it never disappoints! Such a great place for the soul!

The best spot we’ve ever booked. Private, expansive, clean, beautiful. Between the clear water lake for the dogs to swim and the loon calls in the morning and evening it was absolute perfection. Only wish we could have stayed a bit longer.

The property is beautiful and centrally located in the Northern half of Vermont, making it easy to get to Burlington, Stowe, and the NEK (our areas of interest). This is our second stay with James and we look forward to coming back to camp in the future.

This house is in an excellent location at the end of a peninsula. It's quiet and you can hear the loons calling. The kitchen is the best equipped of all the places I've stayed. The screened porch looking out over the lake is perfect. This is the fifth year my family has rented this place.

What a view! Everywhere you look is stunning! Home had all the essentials and packed with towels, kitchen utensils, and outdoor fun. Very clean, and easy to book. Price was amazing for what it was! Everyday was fishing and kayaking and even swimming in the cold! We saw the most beautiful stars. One shooting star was the brightest we have ever experienced! We played yard games and indoor games and had a fire with s’mores. The indoor fireplace is rustic and added to that cabin feel. The home has positive energy. My two young daughters go to experience what a Vermont vacation is! One note: the Vrbo crew came back when we were unpacking. They forgot to take out the trash, lol. But overall, one of the best family trips, and most memorable.

Absolutely beautiful property on a stunning lake. This getaway was everything we had hoped for. The house was clean, the property was private and peaceful - we can't wait to return. The lake itself was clean and very inviting. Entry to the lake was a very gentle slope, perfect for our pups to play around. The house was stocked with anything you could possibly need. The general store a few minutes away has all the basics and more that you could possibly need as far as groceries, produce, toiletries, etc. in case you forget anything. We plan on returning again and again. Thanks!

A Beautiful Gem in Vermont!! We had an amazing anniversary get away to Lake Eden. This cottage is clean, comfortable and has everything you will need. The view is Gorgeous!! Our pup loved swimming, the yard is very roomy, the screened in porch so nice to relax on. I cannot say enough good things about this rental!!! Hope to visit again

The home was warm and welcoming. We had temperatures between 30 and 60 degrees and were always comfortable. There are many things to do in the area and we enjoyed hikes, restaurants and maple sugar farms.

Jim and Oonagh live in Williston, Vermont, one hour from the Eden lake house. We have one adult son.

Why they chose this property

This is our only vacation home. When purchased, it was a summer cottage built in the 1930s. We built an addition and winterized it for year-round use in 2003. Our goal was to maintain the rustic "camp" feel of the original cottage. We use it in the winter to ski at Jay Peak and in the summer for the lake. Lake Eden is very clean - great for swimming. It's a wonderful relaxing escape.

What makes this property unique

Great waterfront, clean lake, large platform dock, a real "On Golden Pond" kind of experience. A rustic Vermont "camp" feel with all the modern conveniences.

Great downhill and cross country skiing close by in winter. Jay Peak waterpark and skating rink are new attractions at Jay.
