Our home is perfectly situated for exploring some of Colorado’s most beautiful mountain scenery, outdoor adventures, historic towns, and family-friendly attractions. Whether you love fishing, hiking, sightseeing, wildlife, history, or simply taking a beautiful mountain drive, there is something for everyone within about two hours.

Eleven Mile Canyon Recreation Area — Approx. 10–15 minutes
One of the closest and most scenic adventures to the house! Follow the South Platte River through a spectacular granite canyon filled with towering rock walls, forests, wildlife, fishing spots, picnic areas, hiking trails, and historic railroad tunnels. It’s a fantastic place for a scenic drive, photography, hiking, or spending a relaxing afternoon by the river.

Eleven Mile State Park & Reservoir — Approx. 15–20 minutes
A must-visit for outdoor enthusiasts. Eleven Mile Reservoir is famous for its fishing and wide-open mountain scenery. Guests can enjoy fishing, boating, kayaking, paddleboarding, hiking, wildlife watching, picnicking, and beautiful Colorado sunsets.

Tarryall River Ranch — Approx. 25-35 minutes

The house was every thing we expected! Host Annie was there to meet us upon check in….. this is the first actual time I have rented on VRBO. Such a great experience will definitely do this again!! We will definitely stay at this house on our next trip to Colorado!!
