This house is awesome. Such a nice spot to get away with friends and family, but still close enough to town for anything you might need. It has great views, great amenities, and the host is amazing. Definitely plan on staying here again!

Twain Harte Memories

We truly enjoyed our stay at Knox! The home is as described and provides all the necessities of home; a home away from home surrounded by nature. We even saw bunnies roaming around in the morning. Thank you for a wonderful stay in Twain Harte as we travelled down memory lane.

Wonderful property. Very nice and modern. Comfortable beds. Kitchen is well stocked with all the utensils You need. Really liked very large property footprint. A quick, 30 minute drive to Dodge Ridge for our ski vacation.

We had a wonderful multi-generational stay here! I was so happy they had a pack-n-play for our 1 year old, and our 3 year old stayed in the bunk room (she also had a blast with some of the toys that were around!)We also had the grandparents and my husband and I - perfect amount of space for all of us to relax and enjoy the local area (orchards, hiking, etc). The neighboring dog was a total sweetheart and paid us many visits!The kitchen is equipped with all the basics you need to cook dinners and breakfasts - there were even sippy cups and kid-friendly dishes etc!The only thing we were a little low on were the towels since all of the adults enjoyed the hot tub - but I can't recommend this place enough! Luis was an excellent communicator and we even arrived to some welcoming treats at the house. Definitely want to return!

This was my second time staying, and it’s my new favorite place. Luis is a gracious host, and he keeps adding more great features (a hot tub was recently installed!). But more importantly, the spacious layout is what keeps me coming back. Whether it’s the open kitchen or the outdoor fire pit, this a place where you want to gather. Bring family, bring friends, and enjoy a peaceful retreat together!

This modern home is decorated with care. The simplicity is refreshing. Enough room in kitchen tto preoare a feast and entertain all at once. Patio has a beautiful view to the east. Very hot in Tuolumne County during our visit so we missed using the new hot tub.

Amazing retreat

I stayed here for 12 nights and my only regret is not staying for longer. It was the quiet, private retreat that I needed. Many beautiful hiking trails just 15 minutes away. I loved the layout and the excellent, fully stocked and modern kitchen. The outdoor patio area was so relaxing. I enjoyed watching the sunrise and having breakfast there every morning. At night I could take advantage of the dark skies and gaze at the Milky Way. The WiFi was great; I was able to work remotely and host meetings with no issues. The host was very responsive and helpful. I will certainly be staying here again.

Modern Oasis

I can't say enough about this property - it's my new favorite place! If you want a rustic cabin experience, this is not for you. If however you want a private, brand-new, and extremely well-appointed getaway, you have found your spot. All of the amenities are here - outdoor fire pit with festive lights, full chef's kitchen, and just minutes away from Twain Harte. It seems like most properties in the area follow the same tired formula - take an old residence, spruce it up a bit, and put it out there for short-term rental. Not here. This property was designed from the ground up with one specific vision - a luxurious mountain escape, great for entertaining, and providing everything a family could need. As an additional benefit, the hosts are local, extremely responsive, and committed to their guests getting the most our of this property. I'm already looking for dates to stay here again!

The neighborhood around Knox Landing is spacious and quiet. There is a German Baptist community that works and lives in the area. Be sure to wave to everyone as you drive by!

What makes Knox Landing unique is that its a modern, brand new build that is settled amongst 7 acres of land. Many other homes in Twain Harte are close in proximity to other homes. Not true with this one. If you want peace, quiet and privacy choose us!
