Welcome to Seashell Retreat — an updated Amelia Island townhome just a 5-minute walk to the beach and steps from Fort Clinch State Park. Located on the quiet North End and close to historic downtown Fernandina Beach, this peaceful retreat offers the perfect blend of nature, walkability, and comfort.
Enjoy morning coffee or evening wine in your private courtyard patio with lighted umbrella, or unwind in the cozy, well-appointed living room. Our newly remodeled kitchen is fully stocked for home-cooked meals, and we provide beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and a rolling beach cart for easy beach days.
Seashell Retreat is walkable or bikeable to North End beaches, Fort Clinch, Egan’s Creek Greenway, Salt Life Restaurant, and neighborhood parks. Guests also enjoy access to the Fernandina Shores community pool and tennis courts.
After a day of exploring, relax in one of two comfortable bedrooms featuring cotton bedding, blackout curtains, fans for white noise, and TVs with cable and streaming.

We live in Atlanta, but come to Amelia Island as much as we can! We own and operate two other vacation rentals on the island (VRBO #2106981 and #2578408) and we love making sure people have amazing, relaxing vacations. We can't wait to host YOU!
Why they chose this property
We absolutely love the peaceful north end of the island. It's perfect for biking anywhere - from Fort Clinch to downtown, and the beaches are the best for shark tooth hunting. We also love that we can walk to restaurants from our unit - and to Egan's Creek Greenway.
What makes this property unique
We spent a lot of time updating this property and making it beautiful, relaxing and fully stocked. We provide all the beach equipment you'll need (chairs, umbrella, towel and beach cart)!
