Lassen Creek-Side 4 Bedroom Home with Giant Sequoias Pines & Cedars
This creek is ALWAYS full!
A remodel of the kitchen and dining room made this 1930's bungalow a real treat for vacationers! Granite counter tops and stainless appliances attest to the quality of the home, while the fantastic old double hung windows and cedar plank walls of the living room and bedrooms retain the original woodsy craftsman feel.
Numerous windows and the Deck look out on the spectacular spring creek tumbling at the base of a 2 Giant Sequoias, Huge Cedars and Massive Pines. Flowering Dogwood trees, Trilliums, and wildflowers make this a favorite part of the vacation.

Michael was an amazing host! The creek in back was so beautiful and we loved sitting out back listening to it! The house was very cozy and we loved the wood stove! Michael was even kind enough to supply the wood to keep it going! We will definitely be back to enjoy the area more! Thank you Michael.
We had such a great time staying here! The property is beautiful and the cabin is very cozy. There is a lot of stuff to see in the area - Lassen Volcanic National Park and Burney Falls were our favorites. I would highly recommend staying here to explore the area!
The property was great. We all enjoyed sitting on the deck with the the beautiful view of the creek running down below. The house was great as well. Our host Michael was great we enjoyed meeting him.
Absolutely wonderful!!! Great location! Cannot wait to go back! If you are visiting Lassen, this is the absolute perfect place to stay. Clean. Cozy. Fell asleep to the sounds of the creek.
We enjoyed our stay at the Creek House so that we were central to Lassen Park. The creek was cool and teaming with wildlife. The kitchen is fully stocked with appliances. Wifi access great. The pizza shop at Shingletown was awesome and eaten on the back deck.
Charming place perfect for a family reunion. The big plus is the river, the fire pit and the overall atmosphere. Also great location to explore lassen and the surroundings
It was just what we needed. Unplug but still had the essentials. I was able to pull off a Thanks Giving Dinner for hubby and 3 grown boys. (It’s always a challenge in a new kitchen, but it as awesome. Everything I needed. It was perfect. Great little spot. Michael is a super helpful host. Will definitely go back. Sitting by the creek, steps away with a book priceless.
Outstanding property and location. Host was outgoing, knowledgeable and accommodating. Kitchen had really nice appliances, dishes and cooking pots and pans. The kitchen and house is very spacious. There is a deck overlooking the creek. It is very relaxing and an absolute highlight of the property. Easy drive to Mt. Lassen and surrounding areas. Lots of hiking and outdoor activities close. Highly recommend this place!
The property was really nice and having the creek right there put this property over the top. The back deck with the bbq was great to hang out and the cabin itself was super nice. The property manager was a great person to deal with super friendly and had good suggestions on where to eat even though we cook at the cabin. Had a great time there hope to do it again.
I stayed here a few years ago and loved it so much I came back with a couple of friends. I just love sitting out the back watching the river. A great spot to enjoy nature and unwind. The cabin had everything we needed - the kitchen is well equipped. Our host was extremely accommodating too. I highly recommend and look forward to my next stay.
A very comfortable and scenic stay. The owner is personable and friendly. The kitchen was well equiped

Super lovely people that showed me and my home and my business utmost respect and courtesy. They had a week of unseasonably cold weather and took it all as part of the adventure. I brought them garden vegetables which Ann continues to thank me for! Joyful people.
Note: Ann droped her phone durring this review and it ended all input. Unfortunate because they are so articulate but they left me a thoughtful parting note.
Thank you for the stay. Great to meet you both!
This cottage is just charming. This was our first trip to Lassen and we were fortunate to find this place. It had the feel of being out in the woods with Redding being conveniently close. The Accommodation were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was usually visited by some of the local deer. the wood stove offered warmth and coziness at night. However, the star attraction was sitting on the deck and listening to the brook and waterfall in the back of the house. It was so relaxing that it was hard to leave to go to Lassen. I would definitely consider this cottage when traveling the area.
very nice place, a little abandoned, needs more cleaning in the back, and the house is very hot, very difficult to sleep at night, rooms and bathrooms need more privacy

Mario was here on record breaking heat days. Seemed to not use any common sense strategy like closing windows in the heat of the day. His review is completely out of character with all my other reviewers. My picture perfectly represent the home. There is no clutter, etc.
We had a truly wonderful time and it was perfect for a short escape from regular life. The little waterfall was so calming. We spent hours at the firepit next to the stream. The owner had a lot of lovely suggestions for places to go and made us want to come back again for a longer stay.

Lovely guests. A couple and their children enjoying the amazing October sun by the creek. Took excellent care and left little trace of their stay. Any owner would be thrilled. Thank you!

There isn't much to add to the other reviews - the place was spotless and is accurately described on the VRBO website. We spent a week here and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage. The kids loved cooling off splashing in the creek in the evenings. Michael was very responsive and easy to communicate with.
