Our pet friendly 2-bedroom cottage, in the heart of of Alpine, has all the comforts of home. Walking distance to shops and fine dining and minutes from Sea World, The San Diego Zoo, Julian and San Diego's world famous beaches. It's a perfect retreat for families, wedding parties, and small groups of friends to get away from it all. We have two cottages at this location and rented together sleeps up to 10 people.

Remove personal items, remove leftover food and drinks and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights and lock the doors
Please put any wet towels into the empty bathtub.
Please don't remove the sheets from the beds. It's easier for the cleaning team to see if the sheets need to be pre-treated for stains.
Please make sure the windows are closed and the air conditioner and/or heat has been turned off. Please have safe travels home ; ))
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
*No Smoking/Vaping. This is a smoke free property, inside and outside and we charge a $500. smoke remediation fee.

*Dogs must be leashed and under the owners control when outside the cottage. Per our insurance we can't host Cane Corso, Dogo Argentino or Pit Bulls.

By far, one of the best places to stay. Secluded enough to have that wilderness feel yet, close to everything in downtown Alpine. And the host was very nice. Will definitely book it again.

Great Location in a Cute Town of Alpine

This place was so cute and so clean. It welcomed our furry friend with open arms even a dog bed it was so awesome. Great location you can walk to cute shops and restaurants. We were able to cook a few meals had everything we needed from home. The beds were super comfortable, and the living room was set up for great entertaining and conversations opened up to kitchen. All around a great place to rest and cute areas to site see. Thank you

Amazing Cottage

This little Cottage is great and right in the center of town! Very clean and everything is new. Great communication with management and no problems at all. They even provided bowls and beg for fido, which I thought was great considering I forgot a water bowl!! :). We will definitely be staying here again! Carla

Lovely house, great pool

My family stayed in this house in October 2024. The house's amenities were excellent for my large family group. The pool is particularly lovely - we paid the extra premium to have it heated and this allowed us to use it on a daily basis in mid-October. The kitchen has good facilities including a freezer with a constant supply of ice. There are plenty of dishes and a good dishwasher. The master bedroom is especially spacious. During the booking process the owner was very helpful at each stage, and responded immediately to all emails. We would definitely return if the opportunity arises.

Read the fine print.

While the house was a great place, it's important for prospective clients to note that this isn't just a home for short-term rent, but also a RV park. We had no notice that two very large, expensive RVs would be sharing the space, including parking, and the owners do not have to warn you as such. The RV owners were fine and we got along, but my experience is that some RV campers have little regard for others - loud music all night, drunken parties, etc. Whether the owners of the property screen RV campers is not known. Be warned.

I'm a California girl but now that I'm retired, I enjoy traveling. This property is my special California getaway, close to my grandchildren and close to my heart. I love coming home to Alpine and it's such a special place I wanted to share it. Although, it's such a popular place, even I need to make a reservation ; ))

Why they chose this property

Alpine is a perfect location and this peaceful cottage is just 1/2 a block from the center of downtown so its walk-able to shops and restaurants, all the while feeling secluded. It's close to the 8 freeway, which is one of the few that isn't continually clogged with traffic, making everything close and easy to access. Its just a quick 30 minutes to beautiful beaches, area attractions, the airport and 10 minutes to my grandchildren's house ; ))

What makes this property unique

The peacefulness. With the beautiful shade trees and the outdoor patio its the perfect place to enjoy your morning coffee, practice yoga, read or meet your neighbors. We keep our bird feeders full so there's no shortage of beautiful songbirds.
