Loved everything about our stay - gorgeous little place overlooking Mittersill. Although the lift wasn’t running during our stay, the location was still perfect to ski Cannon. Can’t wait to go back!

A beautiful place, very quiet, with everything you would need
We had an amazing time at this cabin. Cabin was clean, the fireplace was so nice. I enjoyed relaxing infront of it after a long day. Great communication with the owners. It was a great little get away. I highly recommend this cabin if your looking for a nice place to stay.

Great ski weekend at Cannon
This is a really cute chalet in a scenic and historic setting. Nicely furnished. Wonderful kitchen. Walk to the ski area. We hope to return next winter.

Beautiful home, perfect location, the neighborhood was very cute and quiet. I felt like I was out in the woods by myself. This house was comfortable, cute and cozy. The pictures don't do it justice.
It had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, well equipped kitchen, space for the 3 children to unwind, play games and legos. Bedrooms are spaced out and two bathrooms was a handy feature. Would have preferred a drip coffee maker but we made it work.
We (7 of us) were woken up by a smoke detector going off at 3:00 am. We did our best to find the culprit and remove it but to no avail. We reached out to the property management team. The gentleman was could only tell us no one was available to help us at this time and the notes he had showed that this same problem had happened 4 days earlier but with no fix. He said he wasn’t allowed to reach out to the owner. There was one smoke detector in the eves of the ceiling which we couldn’t reach without a ladder so we too matters into our own hands and called the fire department who came with a ladder and removed the detector. Unfortunately that didn’t solve our problem. At 5:30 am I found a stand alone NEST device sitting on a shelf under the TV and lo and behold that unit was the one beeping. At this point no one was going back to bed as we planned to ski the next day. We were all working on 3.5 hours sleep. The management crew came out mid morning and met my husband at the house. He explained the situation, they didn’t replace all the dectectors. They left them on the kitchen table. We have reached out to VRBO and Vacasa and they keep telling us their management team is looking into the situation. I’ve given them 10 days to make this right, which they haven’t. So I have been forced to write this disappointing review. I am beyond frustrated and am still waiting for some sort of compensation.

Top Notch
Beautiful home, pictures did not do it justice. Fully stocked, felt like home, everything felt clean and beds were comfortable. Even the decor was just right. Vacasa answered immediately with all of my questions.
Note*the door locks automatically so make sure you have your door code or you’ll be locked out.

Hi Tonya, thank you so much for your kind words and for taking the time to share your experience with us! We're thrilled to hear that you enjoyed the home and found it to be comfortable and well-stocked. It's wonderful to know that the decor and overall ambiance met your expectations and that our team was able to assist you promptly. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the bugs in the shower. This is certainly not the standard we strive for, and we will address this issue with our local team immediately to ensure it is resolved. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and we hope to have the opportunity to host you again in the future for an even better experience.
Our family group was small this year, so we decided to get away to mountains and snow for Christmas. This place was a perfect cottage for us to enjoy the holiday. The well-stocked kitchen was great for cooking our holiday meals, and the gas fireplace really warmed the place up. The roads and driveways are well plowed, and it is a dog-friendly house and neighborhood. Easy to walk around and enjoy the views! We had a great stay, but here are a few detailed notes:- the door automatically locks and requires a 10-digit code for re-entry, so make sure everyone has the code- the bedrooms are fairly spartan (one had no closet), and the beds are quite firm- coffee is Keurig only, so bring alternate coffee methods if you are big coffee drinkers or don't like Keurig
As advertised. Updated, well appointed kitchen off roomy great room. Overall, quite comfortable.
The unit apparently has a noise meter of some kind. I got a call while there that the meter had registered excessive noise. It must be faulty because it was just me there at the time and I didn't even have the TV on.

This chalet needs a working coffee maker and some staples
The chalet was nice and clean when we arrived. Thanks! The coffee maker sucks. It needs to be de-scaled badly or replaced as it will not heat water anymore. This chalet should absolutely have a pour-over alternative to K-cups - a carafe and some coffee filters. C'mon, good coffee is a basic necessity. The unit is also missing some expected staples, like sugar for crissakes and vinegar. There was foil but no plastic wrap. You ought to have a checklist. You seem to do well with the cleaning supplies, how about adding basic staples to that routine? Our only other downer was trying to keep the unit at a good temperature. The bedrooms were freezing while the main areas were too hot. That heat exchanger is not sufficient for the bedrooms. And you didn't have any comforters or heavy blankets. Brrr.Everything else was either good or great.

We had a very nice stay, as the seasonal timing was wonderful , and the property was lovely and quiet. Dark skies at night, the stars were amazing. Just a few concerns about the property. Not everybody knows how to use every kind of dishwasher, washer or dryer. It would’ve been nice to have instructions, especially for the washer and dryer. The push button door lock, failed us a number of times, and finally died altogether. We were able to contact the property manager and got a code to get the regular key. But it was frustrating to have to do that Bags full of groceries and a dog waiting to get into the house. We found a bunch of hair and refuse in one of the drawers. The windows and the windowsills were quite dirty, So opening the windows was neither easy or Pleasant. We appreciated having complementary shampoo, conditioner, soap left for us, the towels were plenty and soft, and while the beds were comfortable, some newer sheets and comforters and blankets would be suggested. The blankets in particular were pretty old and scratchy. Just like with the other appliances, instructions on how to use the fireplace would’ve been helpful. The updated bathrooms were very nice, and the kitchen was modern and user-friendly, but the drawers full of equipment and supplies were so disorganized that you had to look through several places to find common use utensils, and such.
All of this said, we did have a nice time, the place was very close to all of our favorite places.
