Love what the owners are doing restoring this area. Walking distance to the Lakewood theatre amazing the famous actors that performed there cant wait to go back when theatre is open.
The lodge was cozy and cute! It doesn’t have heat so be sure to use the electric fireplace and open the oven if you’re staying there in the fall. The fire pit in the backyard has two small holes in the bottom that the fire can seep out of. Be careful! It may catch the dry straw around the bin. Other than that, the place was beautiful, clean, and the host was especially accommodating and hospitabhe. One day we wanted to go kayakang and see set them out for us from her property down the street. She left directions and suggestions for the area. A great place to slow down, but still relatively near Acadia and other gems!
