Beautiful spacious property with a fantastic view and lake frontage.Great living room with giant flatscreen TV and plenty of room to relax. Giant deck overlooking the lake as well.
This was our second stay at the lake house! It has become a family tradition to gather at the lake and this is the house for us to be together visiting family in Madison. We spent all of our time on the deck and at the dock. We are thankful Ryan shares this beautiful spot and we hope to return again soon.
Western facing, beautiful sunset views from the shores of Lake Wesserunsett. We loved this cabin and area: quiet, relaxing and the cabin had everything we needed.
The most beautiful spot on Lake Wesserunsett. A comfortable , spacious house with a fantastic view of the lake. It has everything you need and you won’t find a better location.
Great comfortable, clean, inviting house with great access to lake, decks, firepit and grill. Stayed for a family vacation for a week to swim and catch up with friends. Would definitely come back to this house!
We had a great time in Madison. The property is beautiful, even more so than it appears in the pictures. There is plenty of space to hang out, cook, and sleep. The view of the lake is incredible. Neighbors are a bit closer than we expected but were perfectly nice. Very close to town for dinner and shopping. Highly recommend!
My family and I enjoyed the perfect weekend staying here in January. All the necessary amenities were available to us and the house has so much space. The beds are comfortable and the pellet stoves are so warm and comfy! Ryan and Kim were wonderful communicators, too. You will enjoy this lakeside spot for sure.
Overall, it was a very nice stay. The cabin had everything that you would want or need. The Wi-Fi worked great. Lots of room and the kitchen was well stocked. There are a lot of stairs to get down to the water. The trampoline in the water was a, great addition. The owner was quick to answer. Any questions or concerns.
Starting with a side note, that we have used VRBO many times. This was one of our best VRBO experiences we have had, hands down!
From the open and friendly communication with Ryan, to all of the amazing amenities within the lake house, this was such a fantastic stay.
We have family in the area and this was a perfect place for us all to come together and create some wonderful memories.
Nothing was better than starting the day or ending the day sitting on the dock enjoying the beautiful lake. The lake is perfect for kids and adults alike to swim and play in! If you’re unable to get down to the dock (like my elderly folks) the lake house provides the most beautiful views from within and on the deck. All of the beds were super comfortable and the kitchen left you wanting for nothing.
We are already looking at coming back next year! Ryan, thank you again for everything! :)

Lake House
Property itself was nice, but there were cobwebs everywhere. Shower has caulking all through it and did not look clean. There are many hooks hanging around the gutters of the house that are extremely low and hazardous. People smashed their heads on them when they were coming around the porch to the front of the house. Lower level was under construction and not very user friendly. Also, the lighting inside the house is minimal and very dim.
Owner sent us many messages that his neighbors were unsatisfied with us being out on the porch at 7:45 pm at night and said they were threatening to call the cops. We were hanging out and having a birthday dinner (states in the house rules that birthday parties are allowed). He continued to message us after we shared with him that we were following the stated rules and had also moved inside the property.

Response from VrboOwner on 12 Oct, 2023
It would have been beneficial if a "birthday party" was communicated to us considering the reservation said 4 people staying at the property. I could have reached out to my neighbors and them know that there would be a large group of people and not 4. Since that wasn't the case, unaware neighbors complained cars were parked in their driveway and up and down the street. They also complained of loud music coming from the property. Renters need to be respectful of the neighbors (one works 3rd shift) especially when it comes to any kind of partying, so if you want to ding me because of that on your review, so be it.
We rented Ryan's lake house for a week while working in the area in October. While we did not take advantage of any of the local amenities, we enjoyed the house and would gladly stay here again. The house is comfortable, quiet and had everything we needed. Ryan was very quick to respond to any questions we had.
