Buddy’s Beach House Private Heated Pool and Spa- Pet Friendly

Welcome to Buddy's Beach House, a completely remodeled, beachy chic getaway just 2 blocks to the beach. Stroll to the beach with a beverage in one hand and your beach cart in the other. After soaking up the sun all day, walk to one of the many fine restaurants, only a few blocks away. Or hop on the free trolley, which travels the entire length of the island. There is no need to drive anywhere on your vacation, unless you want to.
Buddy's Beach house sleeps 4, featuring two bedrooms and 1.5 bathrooms, plus a luxurious outdoor shower. Each bedroom has a queen size bed with fine linens, super comfy mattresses and huge closets with plenty of storage. The fully equipped kitchen has everything you need for mixing up the perfect concoction or just having a quick bite to eat. High speed wireless Internet access, digital cable, and 4 Roku TV's.

No need to bring coolers, umbrellas, beach chairs, beach towels or a beach bag, we supply it all. Pack the cooler, load up the beach cart and you're all set for a day at the beach.
Buddy's Beach House is dog friendly and all one level (no lugging luggage and coolers up and down stairs).
There are two Ring doorbells located on the lanai. I accept personal checks, Mastercard, Visa, Discover and American Express. For reservations more than 6 months in advance a payment plan is available. 1/3 at booking to hold your dates, 1/3 due 120 days in advance with the balance due 60 days prior to check in. Reservations booked less than 60 days in advance are non-refundable Deposits will be refunded with 60 days notice of cancellation. Please feel free to contact me with any questions.

Anna Maria Island is a family community and the city imposes a strict noise ordinance. Please adhere to our good neighbor policy and observe the local quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. No loud music or use of the pool is allowed during these hours along with any other noise which may disturb the neighbors.

Amazing house!

We just spent a week here and had the smoothest vacay ever. The house is really nice and clean and you can tell the owner cares about her house. The pool and jacuzzi were so nice to have all to ourselves. The house is literally a two minute walk to the nearest beach access as we learned parking if limited on the island. We will definitely be back next year!

We had an amazing stay at Buddy's Beach House! The highlight was definitely the gorgeous pool and relaxing hot tub — perfect for unwinding after a day at the beach. Christine’s hospitality was exceptional; she was incredibly welcoming, attentive, and made us feel right at home. Amazing Stay!

We had a great time at Buddy's Beach House. The house was spotless and exactly as described. The location was perfect a few blocks from the beach and shopping. There were plenty of chairs, a wagon and umbrella all in get condition. We loved having a private pool and spa. We had great communication with Christine. She kept us up to date on our stay and made sure if we needed anything to just contact her.

Great house and location!

Listing is spot on, location is fantastic with a really short walk to beach access. The access point was a great spot and less crowded than others. Christine is super responsive. The pool and backyard area is awesome! The beds are super comfortable and the house is very clean and stocked with all you need! We loved it here!

We loved having the pool and hot tub right out our back door. Even better is that we did not have to share the pool with other guests. It is a private pool and it is set up perfect. The house was perfect for our family! And having all of the things needed to go to the beach was a big plus!

This property was absolutely amazing! It was cute, it was clean + it had everything you could possibly think of. Christine really thought of everything! It was a quick walk to the beach + to The Ugly Grouper which you have to go to, amazing food + atmosphere. All in all it was a great stay + I highly recommend Buddy’s Beach House! Thank you again!!

Amazing!

We spent a week at Buddy’s Beach House and everything was wonderful. The house has everything you could ask for and the things you didn’t even know you would need. We enjoyed the pool and the hot tub and loved that we were able to bring our fur baby with us. We were able to walk, bike or use our golf cart to explore the island. Christine was super responsive anytime we had questions. It was our first time visiting but certainly won’t be our last.

Excellent Home Away From Home

My family of four have been coming to the island for years and the accommodations of this home are wonderfully clean and quiet. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed by a neighbor. There are 2 good size bedrooms, living room, a bright open dining room, small kitchen with all the amenities of home. When you open the French doors to the back yard, there is a lovely pool, jacuzzi and outdoor shower. We also greatly enjoyed the outdoor gas fireplace in the evening. The beach is about a block away and the owner has provided beach chairs, a beach cart, pools noodles and bikes. We enjoyed our stay so much, we have already booked for the following year.

Loved it!!

We stayed at Buddy's Beach house for a week Sept. 2016. The place exceeded expectations, not only was it super clean and well decorated, the extras like the hot tub, pool and fire pit put it over the top. The week we were there AMI was having a red tide which somewhat limited our beach time so we were so glad to have such a great relaxing house to spend a lot of our time. We really enjoyed being just steps from the Ugly Grouper restaurant that had a nice outdoor area and good food also. The houses owner, Christine, was easy too reach by phone or email and very accommodating. Can't recommend this place enough but we hope it's not booked the next time we make our way back to the island.

Amazing Beach Vacation

This was a great property for my wife and me and our 2 kids (3 and 1). The pool in the backyard was a huge hit. The beach was a quick walk each day. I felt the location was amazing and very central to the island and all it offers. We love AMI and will be returning. Our host was awesome and answered all of our questions and very easy to communicate with. We had an amazing vacation!

Amazing Experience!

This was a fantastic location for my wife and I to have our honeymoon. The house was very clean, the neighborhood and house security was very safe and secure, and it was in a great location. Great Dog Friendly Location

Buddy’s Beach House is a great place to stay. Located an equidistant between the beach and a few close by restaurants it was the best of both worlds. You can park your car and not use it for your entire stay. The house was very clean and nice. Nicely upgraded with superb contact from Christine. We brought our dog along and he had a great time and the fenced in yard meant he was able to lounge around the pool without us having to watch him. Would highly recommend and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Best Beach Vacation Ever!

Buddy’s Beach House and AMI gave us the authentic Florida small beach town feel. No need to drive anywhere, which was ideal after traveling from several states away. The beach was dreamy and the pool/patio/landscaping made us feel like we had a resort all to ourselves! Beach, float in the pool, ride bikes to get ice cream, stroll to dinner, back to the beach to watch the sun set, soak in the spa… and repeat! Our dog, who is normally nervous in new environments, felt at home. This is the perfect place!

Perfection

Buddy’s beach house is the perfect house to stay for a small family. We just love the love the home and the outdoor pool. Everything you need is provided. This home does offer a washer and dryer as well. I didn’t remember that from our last stay and noticed some mentioned not having it, but it is there! Beach chairs, towels, umbrella and beach cart provided and Holmes beach is a short walk from the house. We also like being able to walk to the Ugly Grouper for a bite and some games. Buddy’s beach house has helped us create wonderful memories for our family from Chicago. Thank you!

Absolutely Adorable!

I loved this place the second we stepped in! Had some issues figuring out the spa and pool, but the owner was very responsive. It did keep tripping the breaker so it was tough to keep it at a warm temperature. The pool guy came and helped twice within the week, and said he would contact the owner about the breaker. So hopefully it doesn’t happen to others. We had a full thanksgiving feast, so the kitchen was decently equipped to do so! I would highly recommend this place! The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated ALL the beach amenities in the closet! Walking distance to some great places like coffee, ice cream and the Freckled Fin, which we went three times in the week! (The poutine is amazing) thank you for a great week!!

Buddy's Beach House is named after Buddy, my Old English Sheepdog. He crossed the Rainbow Bridge in 2012 after blessing my life with 14 1/2 years of pure joy. Buddy's Beach House was created to keep his memory alive and give families the opportunity to bring their four legged family members on vacation.

Why they chose this property

Buddy's Beach House is the perfect house for a relaxing beach getaway. The resort like backyard has a brand new 16x26 heated pool and spa, a 1200 sq ft paver patio and new french doors off the master bedroom that lead to a private, luxurious outdoor shower with a rainfall shower head.

What makes this property unique

The house is located a few blocks from the only dog park on the island. There is a separate fenced in area for large and small dogs, fresh water and waste disposal amenities.

There is also a free trolley that runs the entire length of the island. Daily service on the trolley runs from 6 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. every 20 minutes from the Anna Maria City Pier on the north to Coquina Beach (in the city of Bradenton Beach) on the south.

Trolley Stops are two to four blocks apart along the route and there are three main stops: Anna Maria City Pier, Manatee Public Beach, and Coquina Beach where the trolley will wait approximately three minutes before continuing the route.

In the city of Holmes Beach the Trolley runs north on Marina Drive and South on Gulf Drive. All Anna Maria Island Trolley stops have a green sign with a trolley on it and most of them have a covered seating area while you wait. Trolleys offer both air conditioned and open-air seating.
