Gorgeous ocean view Craftsman carriage house. Best of everything with designer finishes and original artwork. Air-conditioned. Fully equipped kitchen, comfortable dining for 6. Washer/dryer. Two flat screen TVs. Queen-sized bed in downstairs bedroom, and comfy queen-sized sofa-bed upstairs in living room. Private patio and BBQ. Beach equipment, razor scooters for kids (and helmets). Steps to the beach, the pier, five-star hotels, world-class restaurants, and the great, big, beautiful Pacific Ocean! Walk score 10/10

Everything was lovely - our family had the best time! There were all these little details that made us feel welcome, from a computer table to pretty flowers and complimentary chips and milk in the fridge. Well equipped kitchen, everything in excellent working order, nice color scheme in blue, we especially like the backsplash! Parking is safe and reliable, either on the beach parking lot (where we found a spot at all times) or next to the house on the street (where there are usually, but not always spots available). WiFi is usually fine, occasionally the signal is a bit weak. Our hosts were so kind and helpful, and really respect their guests’ privacy. Responded within minutes to any questions on the Vrbo app. We already booked our next spring break stay with them :) Thank you for a wonderful time!

Perfect little spot in an excellent location. The cottage and hosts were excellent. Very accomodating! I could not ask for a better experience while visiting my daughter in Santa Monica for the first time. This is a block from the ocean and walking distance to many of the shops and restaurants downtown. Highly recommend!

The listing does not lie — this is the best beach location. Easy access at the end of the block. You can easily walk into downtown Santa Monica or stroll along Main St. We had everything we needed for our one week stay — plenty of towels, comfy bed, nicely stocked kitchen. We thought the space perfect for the two of us. Parking was actually pretty easy once with the parking pass and parking lot. We were here in winter so I can only imagine how amazing the location is for summer beach use. Photos of the listing are completely accurate.

I visit Santa Monica regularly and always check the carriage house’s availability and am so happy when I can book it! I’ve stayed here numerous times over the years and love everything about it. The location is perfect, Dayle provides everything a guest could ever require, and the place is spotless. It’s so nice to have a full kitchen and washer/dryer. When I leave, I wish I were staying longer!

Such a great location!! Steps to the beach and walking distance to everything. Restaurants, shopping, & even a Trader Joe’s all close by. This little place has so much charm and is well stocked with everything in the kitchen, bedrooms, & great beach stuff! Also, it was so nice to have a washer & dryer.The host was so kind.
