After checking in, we were denied use of 3 BR unit reserved and paid for. Shown 2 BR unit in shabby and dirty condition. Given only one other choice, 1 BR unit so small one person had to hug wall for other person to pass. Only reason we stayed is because we were all tired after driving 5 hours from separate directions, and at 5 pm Friday we had nowhere else to go.

We sincerely apologize for the last-minute repair that was needed in the unit you had reserved and for the inconvenience and frustration this caused. We understand how disappointing this must have been, especially after traveling several hours and arriving expecting the three-bedroom unit you had booked. We’re sorry that the alternative accommodations did not meet your expectations and that your arrival experience was not the one we wanted you to have. We understand how stressful this situation was and truly regret the impact it had on your stay. Thank you for sharing your feedback, as we take these concerns seriously and are always looking for ways to improve our guests’ experiences.

The condo is clean, lovely, and comfortable, and it appears to have many recent upgrades. It had everything we needed, and the view was amazing! Beach access is only a few steps away, and the pool area is large and very well maintained. I have stayed in many condos in LBTS, and this one did not disappoint. Thanks for a great ladies weekend away!

I Should Have Stayed at a Holiday in Express

I would have felt smarter. Beautiful view (hence the 2 stars), but dishwasher did not work, there was no water pressure in one shower, several lights bulbs needed to be replaced, and one of the lamps had a short in it. The property management team was reasonably responsive but not particularly helpful. The maintenance team was nice, but it took two days for them to show up. Really disappointed. Recommend you book directly through Litchfield - maybe their units are better maintained and get more priority re: issues.
