Anyone who enjoys a good game of golf will love spending time on this course. Dozens of other golf courses are also found in the surrounding area.
Although you could spend days happily at Seven Springs and never run out of things to do, the other areas of the Laurel Highlands region offer a lot for visitors, as well. Over a dozen state parks are here – including Laurel Summit State park which is a popular scenic area at an elevation of 2,739 feet with a breathtaking view of Laurel Ridge. A short drive takes you to Conemaugh River Lake and Crooked Creek Lake, which both offer fishing, boating, canoeing, hiking and hunting. The Laurel Highlands Hiking Trail is a 70-mile hiking and backpacking trail that follows Laurel Ridge from the Youghiogheny River at Ohiopyle to the Conemaugh Gorge near Johnstown. It’s open year round and there are eight overnight shelter areas along the trail.
If you are not athletically inclined and thinking Seven Springs might not be for you – think again. The area is a cultural and historical banquet. Visit historical sites going back to the French & Indian War, visit a museum or explore and photograph the dozen beautiful covered bridges in the area. The Laurel Highlands is a shopper’s paradise – overflowing with antique stores, arts & crafts, outlets, magnificent malls, and unique finds – even old fashioned general stores. When you get hungry, you’ll find everything from fast food to fine dining in the Seven Springs region. This is a jam-packed area of recreation and sightseeing for everyone and one of the most diverse regions found in the East.

Taking a ski trip with the family, the location and timeliness of shuttles (every 15 minutes) couldn't have been better. Allowed all of us to determine our own schedules and just go to the slopes whenever. The condo is not new, but there are several updates, and it did provide a warm and cozy atmosphere to unwind at the end of the day. We would stay there again.
Although some attempts have been made to maintain this property (one bedroom had new linens and nicer furniture, there were new bath rowels and shower curtains) this property was mostly poorly maintained. There was a strong mildew smell n the lower level, rusted heat ventilators, shabby linens thrown in piles in closets, kitchen was not clean, etc. This could be a nice vacation rental property with some maintenance and upgrades.

It's a shame that this guest has misrepresented our beautiful townhouse.
We have several great reviews from recent guests - none of whom have brought up the issues this guest has. Nor did this guest raise any of these issues during her stay. I know that the cleaning lady has been instructed to store extra linen for the guests in a decorative bin, inconspicuously the corner of 1 closet. I will confirm that this is happening but am confident that based on my most recent visit and reviews, that the other complaints raised by this guest are without merit. I will also make another trip to our home between rentals to address anything that needs to be addressed. I don't expect to find much but want to further assure future guests that our home is truly the best value at 7 Springs.
We needed a space for a night to break up a long drive home. The owner accommodated our last minute request and it was nice to stay in a condo rather than separate hotel rooms.
Comfortable arrangement of rooms, with nice great room, bedrooms and fun game room. Beautiful view of mountains and easy access to slopes and resort via shuttle.
Open and welcoming first floor. Fun and sizeable game room. Comfortable 3 bedrooms. Great location for a walk around the community or a shuttle to the resort. Everyone I met was very friendly
2 families (4 adults; 4 teens) changed from beach to this rental due to COVID in Aug 2020. Everyone was disappointed about no beach this year, and had low expectations. But, we had an GREAT visit to the Laurel Highlands that felt very COVID safe. We did all the summer adventure activities at the resort; took a private white water rafting trip at Ohiopyle; hiked the Laurel Highlands Trail; biked the GAP trail; and visited the Flight 93 Memorial. The kids are runners, and the 1/2 mile loop around Lake Tahoe made a perfect "track" for their runs every morning while the parents walked. The proximity to amazing hikes and bike rides and outdoor dining (we LOVED the restaurant in Confluence right off the GAP trail...). The house had plenty of space (the boys loved their basement man-cave) and plenty of sheets/towels/blankets/dishes, etc. Owner was super-responsive to all inquiries, and when I called the housekeeper with a question the last day and she was great too! NO REGRETS. My only feedback is that the unit is a bit dated - we are not picky, so it was no problem for us and explains the great value - but know going into it that it could use a fresh coat of paint and some minor, cosmetic repairs. I would also suggest not advertising it as having "Air Conditioner," but rather say there is a window unit on the main floor. ALL rooms got stuffy at night (especially the one without an external window) until we went and bought box fans. The air cools nicely at night in the mountains, but I thought we would have central air. Also, we cooked a lot - one additional skillet would be helpful, and some brochures/info on the resort and other local activities are always a favorite of mine when I rent a place. We were unclear that we ARE part of 7 Springs and almost didn't get the discount for adventure activities (probably my stupidity...). Finally, fees for "extra" guests should be prominently stated in the price (Owner was great at working with us on this though, and it was no problem...). All of that said, we had a GREAT VACATION and would do it again in a heartbeat (with fans, of course...).
Good accommodations at a great price! Owner was very available for all questions and was courteous and helpful throughout our stay. Pro-tip: make sure to bring your own laundry detergent and trashbags!
Overall very nice place. Everything you need for a getaway. The 5 hour drive from NYC it’s a bit too long for the kids as a matter of fact I got quite tired myself. The property manager was very good and the property was equipped with pretty much everything you would need, perfect place to catch some fresh air and getaway. It looks like a fun place in the winter. Looking to book again for the winter!
Good spot for a small group. We were able to easily host other friends for dinner and card games. We didn’t utilize the spacious game room.

Good for last minute booking
We had a few issues. The basement had a strong musky smell. Lots of cob webs and spiders. The sound on the TV wouldn't work. From the surround sound or tv by itself. Found used razor and other toiletries in upstairs bathroom. Also we were double booked. After being double booked they still had the condo for rent that week on airB&B.

We have awesome reviews on another lodging website from guests who stayed at our place the weekend before and the weekend after this party's stay.
The cleaning folks come before and after each guest's stay. They clean top to bottom and deodorize. There has never been any issue of smells. However, I have asked the cleaning folks to open the windows prior to guests arriving-weather permitting.
This guest reached out to us numerous during their stay at our place asking questions that had already be addressed in the posting. He even apologized for bothering us.
Despite being a tad annoyed, we patiently and kindly answered all the questions anyway.
At no point did this guest bring up any of the issues mentioned in the review.
Afterwards this party left items behind and reached out to us for assistance.
We were cooperative and immediately put them in touch with our contact to make arrangements for retrieval of the items left behind.
Even then, they didn't bring up any of the issues brought up in the review.
We have dozens of reviews and have never received marks this low or derogatory. Last minute or not - We're sorry that this guest did not appreciate our place as so many others have. We wish them well in finding another place to rent that is such an exceptional value as ours.

The place was ok
It was ok. The place was hard to get ahold of to get keys to get in. And the bed was bent. There was no instructions for anything. Shuttle number. My guest and I would have to think about renting from this site again. Not knowing it was down stairs.

1st. All instructions are on the website including the location of the keys.
If anyone is too tired after their journey to 7 Springs which is understandable or may have forgotten to look on the website, our phone number is provided and you can always text or email any questions.
Apparently a prior tenant bent the sleeper. It has been replaced. Thanks for letting us know.
The townhouse is part of the 7 Springs Swiss Mountain development. It is in a a mountainous area which of course has several elevations.
To access some units you may walk up stairs from the parking lot
To access our unit you may walk down stairs from the parking lot.
However, you can go a few steps to the left and access the sidewalk that runs in front of our unit without using the stairs due to the gradual slope of the sidewalk.
You enter this 3 story townhouse off of the sidewalk onto the main floor which has a full kitchen, large lining/dining area decent sized balcony. You can go upstairs to 3 bedrooms and a full bathroom or downstairs to access the den, patio area, other full bathroom and laundry.
There is a lot of house here for the $. One of the best bargains at 7 Springs!

We have 4 children who enjoy sports of all kinds. Our oldest 2 are grown and have moved away. Our youngest daughter loves skiing so much that she has now joined her high school ski club and comes up the 7 springs with her school. Our youngest son is gradually warming up to skiing and snowboarding. We hope that he will one day enjoy it as much as the rest of the family. We have fun relaxing, cooking and watching our family have a good time at 7 springs. We look forward to you making your own memories there.
Why they chose this property
Our family loves the outdoors. There is so much to do on the resort and in the nearby communities that we knew that we would never lack for things to do with our group. It is important to us that our children be active learners and learn to entertain themselves in other ways besides using electronic equipment.
What makes this property unique
We love the fact that 7 springs is so close to many areas but feels like a world away. It is truly the best sleep we have ever gotten. We 1st traveled to 7 springs with a work conference and were instantly hooked. We contacted a Realtor to help us find our place as soon as we returned. It was important to us to be on the resort premises for we did not want to miss a thing this great resort has to offer. Having the 24/7 shuttle during ski season is great. Having the shuttle stop just outside our door - priceless. We can also call for shuttle service as needed during non-ski season. When we opened the door to 39 Zurich Way, we knew we were home. Please note that to preserve the quality of our home, we only do short term rentals. It has never been occupied for more than 1 week. We treat it like our baby and continuously upgrade our townhouse. We provide a pet free and smoke free environment.
