Peace in the Gap Getaway! Clean and stylish!

Take it easy at this unique and peaceful country getaway just outside of Buffalo Gap, TX. Beautiful 1 bedroom /1 bathroom house located on a few acres with lots of trees and a pond. King size bed, living room, full kitchen and laundry. Sitting on the patio watching the ducks in the pond and birds in the trees is a guest favorite! Only 10-20 minutes to most places in Abilene. Detached guest house located on the same property as our main house. The space is 800 sq ft 1 bedroom 1 bath house. There is a large front patio that faces the pond on property. When you walk in the living/kitchen and laundry are all open. The kitchen should have all you need to prep meals and even a few snacks available. The living room has a TV and wood burning fireplace. Laundry has a full size washer and dryer which are available for guest use. To the right after walking in is a private bedroom with king bed, dresser, closet and record player. Our small personal record collection is available for use. En Suite bathroom with tub/shower combo and an additional vanity area for getting ready. Please enjoy sitting on the patio and soaking up the country air and privacy. The entire guest house is yours during the stay. Feel free to walk around the pond or sit around the fire pit outside also. Once outside of your fenced area, you could and probably will encounter our ducks. They will think you are feeding them and come say hi for a few minutes. Please be respectful of the area around our private house and not explore close to the house.
Other things to note: We lived in this sweet guest house while building our main house next door. We have a special love for this house and all of the memories we made there after first moving out here to Buffalo Gap. The landscape is natural and we try to keep the “weeds” that really are fantastic pollinators for the birds, butterflies and hummingbirds. We are slowly creating a garden of vegetables, a garden for pollinators and wildlife. The decor and vibe is very "us" and we hope you love it and enjoy the peace of this space and property.
