Our stay at Mountain View Lodge was great. Nice place made for a cozy environment. Game room gave us some good entertainment after a few days out seeing sights and activities. Was definitely a place a family of 7 could comfortably sprawl out and relax. Location is great for getting places. Host was welcoming, and sure to check in to see if we needed anything. (Through text, not stopping by, ). And gave some good info on checking out what the Black Hills has to offer. Would highly recommend.

House is big and beautiful! Close to LEAD town. The house was clean, well stocked kitchen, very fun game room downstairs, nice set-up for family gatherings, deck for watching fireworks, good towels, washer and dryer. Host left us amazing cookies as welcome, and seemed genuinely happy we had large family gather there.

Julie and I grew up in rural Nebraska and have lived in the country all our lives. We have 2 sons that love the outdoors, fishing and hunting. We have been in the ranching business together since we got married. 8 years ago we started a brewery and it is surrounded by pastures with horses, cows and sheep grazing next to it. We love everything about rural America and the people that live outside of population centers. That's what drew us to the Black Hills and eventually to the Mountain View Lodge. We chose a beautiful cabin just minutes from all the excitement and adventure so we weren't wasting a ton of time driving.
