Property is beautifully landscaped to attract the many varieties of hummingbirds for your enjoyment. Large walled outside patio with heated hot tub and barbeque grill. Convenient to restaurants, downtown, and local attractions. Abundance of native cacti and wildlife, as well as convenient to hiking and bike paths. My husband and I have lived in Tucson since 1976 when we came for graduate work at the University of Arizona and we plan to live here the rest of our lives. We love the casual lifestyle, the friendly Arizonans, and the weather where your picnics are never rained out. My husband and I are engineers, although I have recently entered the world of real estate as a salesperson. This is now one of three rental properties in the Tucson Mountains
Why they chose this property
We love the house; we love the neighborhood; we knew the previous owner and the builder. We love how you can sit outside in the u-shaped patio surrounded by incredible views of the city and surrounding mountains, or sit inside and feel like you're outside due to the large windows and glass doors. We love hearing the coyotes call to each other at night; we love watching the shooting stars; we love seeing the colorful hummingbirds sip nectar from flowers, watching the mule deer as they come down from the mountains in the afternoon to graze on the jojoba, and the javalina as they move in a herd through the desert. It's all right there at our doorstep. And finally, we love this property for its convenience. In minutes we can be downtown at the Convention Center, the University of Arizona, University Medical Center, some of the best restaurants in Tucson, museums, and attractions. We have the best of both worlds - desert tranquility and beauty while being within a 10 minute drive from Tucson and city life.

After searching properties for over a year, our casa, Entrada de los Montanas, was the choice. Its location offered million dollar views, and its layout made for a comfortable and relaxed living style. After a full year of working to upgrade the property, it was finally ready to offer to you, our visitors, for your vacation rental. From the new air conditioning and heating system to the carefully selected Southwestern furnishings we have tried to give visitors a WOW feeling from the time you open the front door until the day you leave. Comfort, privacy, beauty, convenience, ease and grace are words we hope our property conveys. We will strive to make your vacation the best one ever.
