Enjoyed this stay very much. This is a property with a LOT of things going for it, including nice pool, lounge area outdoors, excellent grill, and spacious common areas inside. We had a couple minor hiccups including an uncooperative dishwasher, but we’d stay again!
The house had ample room for all of us. The kitchen was well stocked with many tools and appliances making meal prep convenient. Kurt responded promptly to messages or inquiries made while we were there. The outdoor space was lovely. We knew ahead of time the pool would be closed due to chilly January nights in the desert. For Minnesotans in January, sitting in the sun in upper 70s was wonderful. This is a suburban setting, so neighbors are nearby, but the fenced yard truly creates a private oasis. A neighbor has roosters, a duck, and a goat so we did hear them. My only negative comments are regarding cleanliness. I messaged Kurt to let him know. He apologized and said he'd follow up the cleaner. Behind the master bedroom bathroom door there was a solid layer of hair and dust clearly visible. A quick wipe with a paper towel took care of it. The refrigerator door handles were dirty, feeling “stuff” on the door handle when we put our food away. The other weird thing? No top sheets on the bed. My husband and I took one from the linen closet to use. As check-out procedures included stripping bottom and top sheets, we assume there should have been one. That said, the house is in a wonderful location, convenient to many of the places we love in Tucson. It offers many amenities and plenty of space. I am sure when it is warmer, the backyard truly is a “Desert Oasis.” We would consider staying here again due to all the good things about the home.
