Had a great stay, house was in a safe neighborhood with an easy walk to transit. Clean, well stocked house. Would definitely stay here again.

The house is great if there aren’t kids staying. Furniture isn’t very sturdy so it’s hard to let children be around it in fear of them breaking something. The outside “backyard” is really just a private driveway that kids shouldn’t be in due to other vehicles being parked there. There is a park in walking distance, but families like to be able to have play areas in the house for children too, especially in an unfamiliar area. There also were no blankets, just sheets and decorative bedspreads. Thankfully our kids brought blankets from home, but my husband and I were cold at night. The furnace smelled like gas when not running, so we were concerned about turning it on.

Interesting! We’ve welcomed families with both young and older children now for 10 years since become host with nothing but great experiences. The furniture is sturdy enough for its intended purposes. Allowing your young children to trampoline off of it and not think to that being egregious behavior to allow in someone’s home is ridiculous. You arrived hours early and rudely complained about the door code not working when in fact your check in time and access code was for 3pm. A day into your stay, something had already been broken. The homes keypad was continuously played with by the kids until the batteries drained. A bed spread is in fact a blanket. The furnace, in perfect working order, was used throughout your entire stay. To say you were worried about running it as if you did not is false. Your future stay for your family may be better suited for a hotel. I would not recommend hosting you for any future stays.

Great accommodation and great area. 10-15 minute walk to the nearest supermarket. 20 minute walk to Ashmont station. The hosts were really friendly and welcoming. Would highly recommend staying here.
