A great stay

We only stayed one night, but the property is located in a very secluded area near mountains. The place was clean, had everything we needed and the hosts were responsive and helpful with anything we needed. Would stay again.

Not a Vrbo, this is a basement AirBnB

I use Vrbo because your not staying with other people. This location is in a basement and the owners where upstairs stomping around till after 1:00am. Had I known that people where living here there is no way I would have booked this. But I thought Vrbo was supposed to be exclusively private, I guess not.

I’m sorry this guests experience wasn’t perfect. It has been for many others. Owners are not on site. The property has two 100% private and independent listings. If a guest rented an apartment in an apartment building, would they expect the rest of the building to be empty? The Shepherd’s Retreat is a 3000 square foot house. The Shepherd’s Nook is a complete and well-furnished apartment. There are no shared areas where guests cross paths inside this very large building. Separate parking. Separate entrances. The quiet time rules are part of the agreement when a guest books. Any guest may contact me at any time to report violations of the quiet hours. Anyone may read the descriptions of my listings and know the nature of this property. I encourage guests to read my reviews and see what a special experience it is to stay with us. I am very responsive and I reply rapidly in most cases. Hotels in Livingston, MT are $300 and up in the summer. The Nook is less than $200 including cleaning. The apartment we call the Nook is beautiful and more than triple the size of any hotel room. We owners are happy to help solve problems if we know a problem exists.
